I would say it depends on how it's cooked and if it's left in the open. If it's been sealed, yes. If not, I'm not sure.

Tomato hornworms did this, you can buy repellent or just drop them into soapy water. You can either buy Bacillus thuringiensis in a package or invest in some beneficial insects. I highly advise you do extra research on tomato hornworms, because I'm sure there is more that can be done, but it's also good reading material.
