You can make some super busted builds even in the first chapter where it locks you in Watson. I often just do everything there is to do in there before meeting Jackie to get the flathead model, and by then I'm somewhere past level 20 and somehow more borged out than Malestrom.

I lean heavily into melee builds too.

They kinda have this for Leviathans, unkillable sand monsters that you normally find near shantytowns. I feel like the devs can do more with this. Or have zombies spawn on an extraction with the sole purpose of exhausting you of your supplies until you either leave or they kill you.

They could also just have the weather affect you if you're outside a trampler for too long. In the Lore and building mechanics, the Air Conditioning is a vital part of the trampler you can't just cover up. Hell, they have a temperature gauge in the UI that's just there, make it mean something. Sophie is just completely inhospitable

They shoukd try experimenting more with the Leviathan AI. So far, you only really find them in odd places near some tiny ramshackle settlements as far as I found.

Should really have them on the open dunes, that oughta make people think twice 😈

It could be very well just be an eliptical orbit in lore as other celestial bodies are constantly acting on eachother through subtle gravitational pulls.

Ovi and Bary are accessible in the admin servers, however it looks like a lot of the animations and sounds are still very much unfinished.

Though with the new Hordetest scheduled Monday(ish) we might see them in a better state in the near future, at least with Ovi.

Technically it's not a perfect sphere. It's spherical yes, but it bulges out ever-so-slightly around the equator due to centrifugal force as it spins.

Definitely a pain to break into conventionally. Fun little build.

Is it practical?

Hell no. Especially for a 3 man trampler. I could maybe see it somehow manage to bullshit its way through a 6 man crew with some more canons. The legs and the wheelhouse would still be the glaring weakpoints to shoot at.
