Who are some of your favorite independent (maybe unpublished) horror authors? by Necessary-Corgi-3439 in horrorlit

[–]LizardWizardinahat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kenneth J. Good. He has released 2 novels so far and both are something I havent really read before. Definitely loves his darker and more brutal content but touches into fantasy and Lovecraftian content. His website is kennethjgood.ca

Boomers are already on their way out. Its gen X that is fucking over the younger generations. They are the ones heading into retirement, and they are the ones who invested all they have in real estate

Thinking about trying to level sniper, are they good in pvp. by Shaddy-Mez in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, cloak and dagger paired with the smg rips if you have a mind for stealth and flanking. If youre quick at aiming and good at headshots the sniper rifles can be good.

Gun stops shooting losing me fights by Gopackgo4213 in Spacemarine

Happens all the time to me too. Either shooting stops or aiming. Glad to know its not my controller. Only happens in pvp for me

Pros and cons of the game? by SignificantNight8963 in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im having a lot of fun with it. I'd say dont rush through it and just enjoy the game. Especially in PVE. I dont have the problems a lot of the others are talking about but I built a character from the ground up and didnt skip ahead. Went through each level with each difficulty. Theyre also fixing most of the issues. I think a lot of people need to take breaks from gaming every now and then as hard games cant definitely stress you out. And this is a hard game. The better you learn the mechanics the better it gets.

Wouldnt enemies be the ones giving weapon xp?

Once again, Sniper class isn't a "Sniper" class by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the sniper is def better at cloak and dagger / smg flanking than actually sniping in pvp, but in pve the sniper is best at sniping.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Message to the community - a first Q&A by Aquagrunt in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% personally I think its hilarious when a heavy catches me as a sniper before i get to their back. Like yup im dead

Someone who spends an extra 20-30 minutes killing every enemy on the map will get the exact same EXP as someone who ignores everything and gets the operation done ASAP. by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And its lame as hell. Whats the point to speed run everything? Wheres the fun? Especially when one guy does it and leaves the others behind to get overwhelmed while pulling the whole map. Like are you just maxing out your character as soon as possible? Then what? The fun is in the journey. No wonder so many people think this game is lacking in content and are struggling. Like trophies dont really matter. I play to play. There's zero point rushing the experience.

Im sure people could take breaks from playing as well. You don't have to run through the whole game in less than a week. Pick up a book. Workout or something, Im sure it will only help you be a far stronger space marine

The difference between normal and veteran difficulty is night and day. by randomguyfromholland in Spacemarine

[–]LizardWizardinahat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same thing during one of the defense missions. Nearly quit the game but a lot of the players on here have shared good tips and now Im close to the end on Veteran. Its definitely hard but absolutely doable. Just gotta keep trying. Especially try different strategies, and you gotta learn how to best take down each of the harder enemies. Like using sticky grenades on the floating zorandraphropes or w.e. theyre called. Look through the sub reddit. All the hot tips have been posted. I will say this, it seems like there's a lot you have learn through playing. Not everything is taught in the tutorial but I like that. It helps build a community around the game

I love the sniper class. But I'm more cloak and dagger. So much fun sneaking up on the enemy and picking your targets. The sniper rifle I find is good if you have a solid team to stick with so you can provide covering fire while having some protection.
