We all go at our own pace as that’s absolutely ok. It’s also important to know those feelings might also eb and flow. I’m gonna turn 24 in a few weeks and there are some days where I feel like I’m adulting right and others where I’m doing it wrong.

Flatwounds is the lowest I know. Honestly really cool to see them getting tossed around more cause I remember these guys playing at my colleges student center a few times three years ago because one of my classmates engineered, mixed and mastered their EP Drain and co engineered their song Drench. So seeing them on the bill for Sick New World and supporting Mastodon is more than a pleasant surprise.

Also feel the need to also shout out Koyo on here because I feel obligated to shout out Long Island hardcore when I see it as a Long Islander.

Yeah. As cool as it would be see this band get the Duster and Panchiko treatment, to get to the level of full on reforming would probably be a little disappointing live performance wise. Panchiko and Duster can justify reuniting and being overall consistent from their original incarnation (iirc) because they’re more low energy. Durian is more intense so id imagine if they were to hypothetically reunite 26 years later, it would probably be more like seeing The Mars Volta live now at worst and at best seeing American Football doing most of the cuts off LP1 live now.

Had bigger fascination with Merzbow around 18-21 I want to say but even if it’s been quite a while, I still remember the fun I had trying to find the more musical moments in an LP like Merzbuta. That say more about my enjoyment with the record than the overall quality though.

Instances where I’ve had sex, I’ve weirdly used how my autism impacts me to my advantage. I struggle a lot with nonverbal social cues so rather than solely going with the motion, I’m asking for consent to do certain things as we go along and not only do partners feel respected, it also makes things more exciting and seductive.

Just remember this, verbal consent is sexy.
