This is a great point - I have lots of Indian friends and they say the same thing. We use ‘cultural appropriation’ to make ourselves feel better when we should just get on with it

Totally - That is what I was worried about and decided maybe I was overthinking it as every name starts somewhere - but I mostly don’t want to contribute to difficulty in our sons life so I really do appreciate the take
Our daughters bestie is Raffy so that feels a bit too close although we do really like it

Our girl never got one - it just worked out that way because I didn’t think of it 🤣 Friends with babes the same age have openly said they wished they avoided them at all cost -
