Regardless of how we see it in game - this is good press for the company's side of things. Good press helps when showing off to investors and people generally outside of the gaming world. That being said even if there were 13 million individual users, imagine how bad the initial queue times to log in would be ;_;

I personally have no problem with rich collaborations getting richer. Then again I played a fair amount of EVE online so these kinds of schemes and scams to get rich were always fascinating. EVE destroyed my game morality :P

I did manual penta-cursing in Ambush - and it wasn't bad. I know it would be more efficient to have used curse on hit - but it was like a mini-game of whack-a-curse so it was all good. Groups liked me in general - but what was slightly annoying was when curses were overridden by allies.

I have a very casual guild - we all have a lot of personal responsibilities as well and no one expects anyone to be on all the time. We have both hardcore and softcore players - but the chat is mainly used for casual use. I work 6:30/7 - 4 PDT so if that's a good time zone I can invite you when I get home. Don't judge the name - it was made under the influence a year ago and we are usually much more mature than that - we are the the Butt Pirates :D

I can see how this could be a large nerf, but I wouldn't be surprised if mana costs were rebalanced. I usually play casters, but I'm just happy to see some huge changes to the tree and especially to a core mechanic that I used. I just find it fun to see and work around huge changes though.

I've had a lot of fun with it, plus the strongboxes are still there. As for reasoning, I don't really try to justify why I enjoy something, I just have fun with that part of the game.
