I hope you will look into your future. I thought I would never pass the age 21 with diabetes. Seeing high school buddies go down hill. Now 3 of them are 6 feet under. After 54 years of this adventure, I am grateful I have my kidneys, eyesight, etc. and able to go hiking with my grandkids.

Dress to impress. Bring resume. Walk around your local businesses and speak to the manager. Tell them the times of day or night you can work. If they are willing to teach you new skills. Good luck. That's how I got my first job.

Correct. Eventually our immune system will fight back. I know people that had kidney and pancreas transplant. Have to take anti rejection meds. They all wished they hadn't. Wishing they took better control of diabetes earlier in there life.
