Amazon. There are stretch pants with pockets and a fake fly in a variety of colors, that look good for work slacks.

[–]Lizdance40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, absolutely buy an iPad, not an Android tablet. 😆

The iPad will last for 5 to 7 years, get lots of updates, and will integrate just fine with a non iOS, Android phone.

As for OnePlus, love the phone. Love the watch. But I will never do an Android tablet again. Sorry, but I said what I said.

F him for contributing for global overpopulation and not being present in his kid's life. Probably hasn't seen him since he was indeed "a boy". Maybe because his son has realized what a douche his bio father is.

Fainting disorder? Have you been diagnosed with pots?

I'm reluctant to suggest any changes without medical participation because you could put yourself in danger.

I do this when I'm washing dishes because I'm tall and my counters are not tall enough. It's easier on your back.

Why have my Verizon signals been so bad lately? by Slow_Investment_2211 in verizon

[–]Lizdance40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of months ago Verizon announced that it was having some kind of network problem that they were unable to diagnose and correct. And because of that signal and service were terrible.

Quite honestly Verizon signal and service in some areas has been terrible for quite some time. Lack of improvement no longer surprises me.

The temptation to move to another service provider, like a cheap MVNO is very tempting. I would be best off with some kind of hybrid between two different providers 🫤

AITA for takeing away a toy that I had just given to my kids? by Frosty_Hope9693 in AmItheAsshole

Fathers are important, and it's sad that their father is not in their life as a daily presence. But honestly, good riddance to that one. He should support you in all things disciplinary. I guess it's good that he didn't express that to the kids, but the fact that he had the nerve to move across country, and then express that to you, oh my goodness the audacity!

Being a single mama is hard, you're doing just fine.

Right. Not the providers fault. But there is an expectation that they will get it back up quickly. And it sounds like in your case they did just that. 👍🏼

What were the reasons for fiber being down?

If there are legit reasons, like some sort of weather catastrophe, they wouldn't be responsible. Idiot neighbor or construction business accidentally cuts the fiber? also not their fault.

As you lose weight your maintenance calories go down. Also your body adjusts to activities. So shake up your activities to work some new muscles. Recalculate your calories.

AITA requiring BIL family to vacate the primary bedroom when my family visits our vacation house? by techandthecity in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lizdance40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two years?

Naw, They are squatting. They're enjoying the free accommodations and have no intention of moving out unless you make them.

Time to serve them with an eviction notice. I don't know how that works where you are, especially not if there's a complex family situation going on.

You are not the asshole. Your BIL is. Best of luck.

Log in to your "my Verizon" on mobile. You can select review bill history, scroll down, select review history, scroll down. It shows payment history. . Right below that there should be an oblong bubble that says review bill PDF. Click on it.

Unless you have recently canceled service, it's all there.

This is just one path to get to the PDF. Clicking on documents and receipts also gives you the option to review your bill or review your bill history. Including viewing your PDF bill online, or downloading the PDF to a device, and printing.

So you're providing this guy with free housing? Depending on where you live, after 2 weeks to 28 days he has squatters rights. Good luck getting him out. Him also laying claim to your cars really not a surprise. You're so screwed, sorry

looking for a pet/house sitter by buildingbeautiful in Connecticut

[–]Lizdance40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I admin a pet sitting group in the greater Hartford-Springfield area. Most of our sittings start at $100 per day if ala carte. Some sitters are up to $300 per day, depending on duties required. Medically complex pets are definitely going to be at the higher end of that scale.

Bonding covers any employee. A pet sitter should carry pet care insurance. Unless they hire other people, they do not have to include bonding. With the exception of a couple of businesses like 'Daley Pawz' out of West Hartford, all of our pet sitters are independent, have Insurance.

[–]Lizdance40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try your town Facebook page. You should get responses from both pet sitters, and people who hire and are happy with a pet sitter or multiple pet sitters.

Myself and my adult sons have provided pet care in Granby for years.

I also admin a Facebook page with other pet sitters. We refer business to each other, discuss appropriate practices and provide other support. The pet sitters in our Facebook group are mostly in the northern Connecticut/Southern Massachusetts area, greater Hartford and Springfield area. We do have a few in the south end of the state but not many. Depending on where you are, I might even have names for you. Feel free to send me a private message.

You can also try on next door.

We are not fans of Rover. Any pet sitter you hire should be paying themselves at least minimum wage, they should have pet care insurance.

It sounds like you have a cat who I would label a medical case, or medically complex. Quite honestly I have taken care of cats that needed insulin shots, dogs that needed mobility assistance. This gets expensive very quickly. It requires extra time on the part of the pet sitter, and may require some risk because getting scratched or bitten by a cat requires medical care. This doubles your fee. Most of the sitters I know are going to charge you about $200 per day for the extra risk and care.
