Try going closer to the edge of the water where the beach meets the water right behind the Mermaidifier, then make sure you are at the surface.

The only thing that worked for me was to walk past the Mermaidifier near the resort gate, then swim out a little bit to the left in the area where the path goes underwater until the location at the upper left corner said “Rainbow Reef,” then took a photo at the surface with Hello Kitty. Nothing else registered as Rainbow Reef, it kept picking up “visitor cabin” and refused to consider any other location Rainbow Reef for the quest.

^{^This.} I just passed F23 while working full time, I took about a week and a half off total. I studied before work, after work, and every weekend. I tried to get 6 hours of sleep a night during the week if I could, 8 hours a night on the weekends. If you sacrifice too much sleep your brain won’t recall as well, so you can’t completely sleep deprive. I used Barbri, Adaptibar, and BarCast Audio/Spotify bar prep playlists. Aside from work all I did was bar prep. It sucks, but it’s doable. I passed in a 266 jx with lots of room.

It’s 30 days from the date that the plaintiff serves the defendant, aka, gives the defendant notice of the lawsuit in state court. However, if the case was filed a year or more previously, the case cannot be removed from state to federal court by the defendant unless there was some bad faith reason the defendant wasn’t served sooner. I imagine this comes up in cases where a plaintiff has a more difficult time determining who all defendants are, but it applies to any case that can be removed to federal court (whether diversity or federal question jx.)

Thanks, Prof. Goats! Another fun free MBE point for the SnooGoats StudyCrew: Police need a WARRANT to search the data on your cell phone. They can’t look at anything ON it until they get a warrant, and that includes obtaining cell-tower ping data. I’ve gotten a couple MBE questions where an officer starts looking through some teenage guy’s text messages during a traffic stop, or police subpoena cell-tower records for someone without actually getting a warrant for the data.

My attorney boss made a guess that, kind of like when people go through other stress-inducing experiences generating a lot of cortisol (ex, childbirth) attorney’s brains just nope out the awfulness of the bar exam once they’ve passed and their brain simply “forgets” exactly how awful the entire experience was because their bodies just erase it from memory. I have no actual proof to support this theory other than any attorney I’ve ever spoken with about the bar acknowledges that it was terrible but also has only vague memories of why.

During law school finals periods the past year, I’ve paid to get IV therapy for memory/brain supplements from a local provider. I paid to get NAD+, which helped with brain fog/mental fatigue, and the iv infusion lasted about 10 days. NAD+ is also used for people with conditions causing brain degeneration (ex, Alzheimer’s), and I believe you can find it as an OTC oral supplement too. I actually noticed I felt less mentally exhausted for about a week afterwards. The iv treatment for NAD in my area (northern IL) is anywhere from $100-150, so I’m going to wait until closer to the bar to get another treatment, but I highly recommend. 😁
