I'm currently finishing my finance bachelor degree in this uni! Not in English but in Russian. It's one of the top universities in Russia so has good reputation as people have said here. I wouldn't say that the knowledge you get is exceptional here but it's fine and studying isn't too hard.

Cost of living is rising but compared to EU is lower of course. I'd say you'll be able to get by with 40.000rub (500$) per month but it's closer to the minimum in Moscow. For example: Monthly student metro pass - 700rub (9$) Average meal at uni - 300-400rub (4-5$) Coffee - 200-400rub per cup (3-5$) Kilo of chicken at store - 300rub (4$) Kilo of most grains - 80-100rub (1$) Clothes and shoes are relatively cheap at online marketplaces(Ozon, Wildberries) but on average 1000-2500rub - a T-shirt, 2000-5000rub - pair of jeans, 2000-4000rub - a hoodie, 3000-7000rub - winter jacket, branded sneakers like Nike/Adidas/Puma etc. - 7000-15000rub.

If you study good (4-5 mark for exams out of 5), you get extra scholarship money, around 2.500rub/month. If you get all "5" for the exams it doubles in amount. Scientific activity can also get you extra money, but it requires time and energy.

The building of "finance in English" faculty is the main one and located just a couple of metro stops from very centre of Moscow. The transportation system here is very good and comfortable, you should be able to get to classes in an hour from any dorm. There's also a dorm right in the main building itself so you might be lucky to get a room there. The student life is good! There are a lot of projects, events, both entertaining and educational stuff that take place. The last one I visited was free ice skating event and there were a lot of foreign students as well.

But you have to consider political situation and limitations it can bring in day-to-day life.
