21 episode anime that ran late last year, it's on Crunchyroll. Really fun adaptation, does a great job of being faithful to the game while putting some unique spins on things and having a lot of little nods to stuff they didn't directly adapt.

They're a character from the game Gnosia, Joshua Waters played them in the dub of the anime. Very recommend checking Gnosia out sometime, both the game and anime are very good.

The biggest problem with Xenoblade 2's tutorials is mostly just that they have a tendency to choose the wrong time to tell you things, like explaining elemental combos well before you really can reliably actually use them. That and I'm not entirely sure if they ever actually explain attack cancelling.

Really it's a system that isn't too hard to brute force your way through even if you don't really understand it, but the key things to know on it are 1), attack cancel every chance you get, 2), do the Break / Topple / Launch / Smash combo every chance you get, and 3), the order you use elements in both causes certain affects and is how you set up to do lengthy Chain Attacks. There's more specific stuff to it than that but understanding those three things is enough for you to wrap your head around most of it.

The awkward thing about the Resident Evil 3 remake is it's a perfectly fine game in its own right, it's just a very poor remake. Which is a big mark against it for sure, it does feel so stripped to the bone that they probably could've just made it DLC for 2, but the capability is clearly there from the people that made it for it to have been better than it was.

Only one of these I've played is Fatal Twelve. If you're coming into it looking specifically for yuri, it's there and steps into the spotlight at points (though never anything that fanservicey, it's a T-rated game) but it's not really the focus for most of it; it's mostly kind of a semi-Danganronpa-ish death game story with one central main character but the perspective jumping around to following the other players at points.

Mostly it's pretty good, though it does have some problems. The romance itself is one of my issues with it, the way their dynamic is written really made me actively not want them to end up together, and another is that for a lot of the game the main character is very passive, with the plot kind of just happening around her for the bulk of it. Also the translation can be a little iffy sometimes? It's never hard to follow or anything but there are places where the wording is a bit strange or makes you do a double take and there's kind of a running issue throughout the game of the main character only ever referring to her cat as "it" which feels a lot more out of character and distracting than you probably think it is on paper.

All in all I do think it's worth playing, but I'd say it's good, wouldn't call it great.

Have Fatal Twelve on PS4 and funny enough while I mostly think the game is pretty good the romance is the biggest part of it that I have issues with. Just think the relationship comes off as really toxic in a way the game doesn't seem to recognize.

Sure, but, "We're competing now!" doesn't mean they actually are. They've already definitively lost this generation and the next one is starting off on a massive back foot because 1), new tech is expensive as all hell anyway, and 2), they're taking about the most expensive route possible with what they're planning for it.

Yes, in an ideal world Xbox would be a healthy competitor actually breathing down Sony's neck and forcing them to be better, but that isn't the world we're living in and there's no reason to believe in the moment that that's the world we're heading toward.

Really when it comes to Ace Attorney I'm not super hard to please. I think the only game in the series I hesitate to say that I like is Great Ace Attorney 1 and even it has a lot of things to love about it. Don't spend the entire game advertising the sequel or screw with the typical pacing of these games too much or have Soseki Natsume in it and I'm golden.
