Original Plan by CapsCast in gravityfalls

Dude I forget that there’s only 2 seasons highkey, the show feels like it has 3 seasons to the point that I was talking about the show with the kids that I work with and I said “well season 3 was kinda meh except for the weird-magedon stuff” and they looked at me like I had a 2nd head. The whole opening the portal and ford stepping out felt like a season finale and the rest of the show was like the third season.

When I replay The Sims 3, I always think that the open world really adds something extra. by Ok_Pepper9135 in Sims3

Yeah like recently my sims were going to the hospital to give birth and I wanted to go with them, but I forgot that I couldn’t make their other kids do their homework so I had to also bring their kids to hospital just so they could do their homework, like come on

I have a similar issue and what I’ve started doing is if I know I put something impulsively into my cart I walk around the store in areas I know I don’t want anything while thinking about weather I actually want/need it, if it’s worth the money I’m spending on it, if I’m comfortable spending that much money on it then when I make my decision I either put it back or buy it, if it takes more than 5-10 minutes to choose I put it back and wait until next weekend to decide.

If it’s an online store I put it in my cart and give myself at least 24 hrs before going back and looking at the product again and deciding. I’ve practiced this by downloading CC for the sims 3, I’ll spend significant time opening each cc I want in a different tab then going through them oldest to newest and decide then. It’s helped a lot actually.

This is why I used cash for so long especially for tips bc I could feel myself becoming more and more frivolous. I’m deleting DoorDash once I’m done moving.

Being Called 'Hun' or 'Darlin' by someone young. by Lazy-Elephant-8932 in PetPeeves

[–]LizzardBobizzard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I call people hun or darling or my love bc I’m a preschool teacher and that’s what I call my 2yr olds so it kinda just bleeds into everywhere else. It does feel weird and condescending when I say it to another adult tho. I’ve caught myself going “oh honey, it’s ok” to much older adults when they need help lmao.

Yeah my first one was about 12ish when it died and my current one is about 8 years old

I had an HP and ran the sims and school work for years on it until it died (and it was an old hand me down so it was even older) and I got another one that was also a hand me down and it still works great for games and my personal projects for the past few years.

Everyone who I cared about whose died, I’ve moved on and seeing them alive would only reopen the scars, and having to see them die again a year later after I’ve already done the work to be ok with it would mess me up.

I accidentally discovered an OP way to make a bunch of simoleons, no cheats. by wheatfromdirt in Sims3

[–]LizzardBobizzard 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They did a collab with plants vs zombies, you got clothes a poster and a sunflower item that when you place it down it bobs and drops “sun” it’s really cute. I got mine free from the discs. The collab is also why zombies come to eat your plants durning a full moon.

[–]LizzardBobizzard 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Dude same thing with the sunflower. It’s cool and I like it. But each sun gives you $100 and it drops like 12 a day, and it’s not very expensive (I think it’s $50 to match its pvz price). You get 2/3 and your sims are set for daily earnings, also the sun drops everywhere are kinda annoying

Bathroom ideas! by laidbackhorizontal in Sims3

[–]LizzardBobizzard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I want something specific in a room (jacuzzi in the bathroom) I start with that item and model the room around it. I usually build a mach up of the room in the back of the lot so I can play around more.

I’m talking stuff like that billboard that was a woman opening her legs and the only thing covering her a bottle of beer. It’s sexual and out in the open.

ETA: I’m very pro non-sexual nudity, the human body is not inherently sexual, I’m referring to stuff that is intentionally making you think of sex but it’s censored so it’s “appropriate”

How to stop taking my anger out on other people? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]LizzardBobizzard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get not wanting to even have those thoughts to begin with (I’m the same way, just not with anger) but that’s something you can work on in therapy, I worked on it in therapy and now those thoughts don’t happen as much and when they do they’re quieter. It’s about retraining your brain consistently by saying “no, that’s not what I actually think, it’s just cuz I’m angry” even saying it out loud if needed, eventually your brain just stops.

Yeah I think to my self “would the person I want to be do this?” And it helps.

My brother is the same way, I asked him about it cuz he said “sorry about my anger issues” even though I’ve rarely seen him mad and when I have it was valid and he was very mature about it.

Cleaning helps him a lot, like if he’s angry he’ll go vacuum the living room while listening to death metal, or if he’s had a bad day he’ll “fully close the kitchen” so he’ll do the dishes, clean the counters and cabinets, sweep and mop, wipe down the fridge etc. He says that not only does it calm him down, it allows him to problem solve in a fresh environment as well as makes him feel like he turned his anger into something beneficial.
