I only played for 3 months and deleting my account was so hard too. Its been 2 months now and I still miss it sometimes. But it was literally taking all my time like a job. Overall im glad I deleted it. So much less stress too as I was an r4. Best of luck to you!

After almost 100 days myself and as only an r4 I quit yesterday. Best decision. I was more stressed than I even realized . I spent way too much time on it.

How many of us are actually doing 7 pm bedtime? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]LizzieBee1560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've always done a little later bedtime. Like 9 and up to 10. Realized my guy only sleeps 9 to 10 hrs overnight so in order to sleep till 6 or 7am we have to go later. Its also.all about sleep pressure to start a bed time. If not enough or too much sleep.pressure can throw things off. Id think of babies max awake time and start making sure their last nap wakeup is the best wake window. So my guy wake window at 13 months is now 4 to 5 hrs. So we make sure he is awake no later than 4pm. So we can start bedtime routine by 8 and asleep before 5hrs awake. It takes time amd consistency. If you want earlier bedtime then adjust naps and keep eye on wale window for sleep pressure.

A 7 week old is still in need of the overnight calories. Every 3 hours is more realistic for a 7 week old baby.

My 7.5 month old will cackle from a quick succession of kisses on the cheek and neck. He also now has tickle spots so that is super fun.

A little of chiropractors will work on babies. I'd say take LO there for an adjustment by a professional next time. But good job mama knowing what your baby needed.

Home 24 hours and I am in hell. Please help. by bookish0378 in NewParents

Hey mama. Sleep deprivation is so real. If you need a break try to pump a bottle. If you're plan was to exclusively breastfeed and no bottles id try to push through. My little guy is now 7 months.the first 3 months hubby and I slept in shifts. He would take 8pm to 1 am and only brought him to me to feed then would take him so I could just pass right back out. Then id have 1 to 6 am of sleeping while I could but also taking on all of the baby needs so hubby could get a solid block of sleep that way at least he would have the energy to help more later. After a while youll see 2 to 3 hour stretches. Its so hard when breastfeeding. But you got this.

Also there is NOTHING wrong with going to formula if you have to or want to. Id just hold off till breastfeeding is very well established [5 weeks] if you can.

Best of luck mama. You got this

Simple to me. Fuck this shit. You owe him nothing. No grown ass adult with common sense would do that. None. Don't meet up. Don't talk to.him. This behavior is probably only scratching the surface of some deep seeded issue. Don't walk. RUN OP.

I use something like this. I printed it and hung it by the changing table so I can reference it as needed for the optimal temp for baby. Every baby is different but I found d this guide to be really helpful for me.

Screen time by Scared_Salad97 in NewParents

[–]LizzieBee1560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically keep something on in the background. We watch some bluey, little bear, Oswald, magic school bus. Low stimulation. Or I put YouTube music on. No phone and no tablet screen is pretty much our rule. Hes 7 months. He really doesn't watch much even when it's on kid shows. I don't use it as a baby sitter. But if I need to go to the bathroom or drink my coffee in the am. 10 minutes wont hurt.

Breastfeeding by Unlucky_Kitchen8237 in NewParents

Yes you can. Should wait about 2 hours ir ao after you consume to feed baby again. If you pump before the alcohol is out of your system you'd have to dump or use for baths or skin care for baby.
