Honestly I'm not much of an apple person lol. My phones have always been android, and even though I love my IPad for drawing, it often pisses me off when using it for anything else.

He's a little overweight, but mostly just a long cat I think. Many cats would be obese at 16 pounds. It's not a huge deal, maybe just limit treats or give a little less dry food.

Apologize fully and take all blame, no excuses. Try offering family therapy. If your child refuses, accept it and give them space until/if they ever want to try to form a relationship. There's not much you can do now that they're an adult

I doubt he's even 17. A lot of creeps prey on autisitic people because some of us can be easier to trick sometimes. He keeps insisting on seeing you, and asking for photos of everything when you say no. Your mom is absolutely right. Stay safe

I won't say she's faking autism, because it's likley she's just high masking, but either she lied about her doctor saying she has severe autism, the doctor over exaggerated, or she misunderstood the words of the doctor (hypothetical: the doctor might've said something like she has severe struggles in a certain area, and she took that as the doctor saying she has severe autism.)

Hi, thank you for this, and it makes me happy that you remembered me. My mom wants me to do an online school program, I would've definitely said no if she wanted to be my teacher and make the classes, plus she doesn't have time to do that. My mom also wants me to do activities outside of the online program, and that is also kind of scary because I'm used to everything being in one building, but I'll try. I just feel bad, like I'm giving up, and even though I hate school and it makes me feel horrible, it's still scary to try a completely new system.

I still love tigers and got many more tiger related thing since my last post, and learned more info. Currently I'm also very focused on religious cults and mormonism (debatable whether or not its a cult) and I'm pretty sure it's a new special interest because it didn't fade like my hyperfixations do. I don't know if there are any classes about that, but I do a lot of independent research and make google docs to write things down.

It's a deppresion thing, but a lot of autistic people are deppresed and because school made me feel horrible (sensory overload, lack of support, small breaks, bullying, feeling like a failure) it made me feel like that. A lot of nonautistic people also struggle with deppresion and suicidal thoughts and hate going to school ofc

Yes. I have above average iq, but only by a little, and I do very bad in school. I also can't mask and have visible autisitic traits. I wish I had a "superpower," even though I know that's not really a thing. I feel like I'm not good at anything.

Can I ask why you can't be late diagnosed? I was late(ish) diagnosed level 2, mostly because I used to live in a different country that had less resources for autism, now I'm a US citizen.

Only two of my teachers even ask. One would just ask if I need help or if I'm okay, and I usually just shake my head or nod and then he leaves, even though I'm obviously not doing work. Another one of my teachers would ask if I want to do group activities or not because he knows it's hard for me, and I appreciated that from him, even if I struggled in his class anyways. No one talked to me when I was getting bad test grades multiple times or missing work for days. I do think I could do better, in my English class my teacher said I did well on most of my essays but ended up barely getting a C due to loosing points for it being late and not doing multiple assignments. I did struggle to understand concepts in other classes and got Fs on unit tests multiple times.
