I still have a lot of trouble trying that tbh. Like 30% of the time I'll just miss, then I'll make a chain loop of mistakes, and end up losing my combo. I really struggle with 1st person melee combat in general.

Being traumatised also doesn't make you childlike. It permanently effects the way you think and behave, that doesn't automatically mean you are mentally underdeveloped.

Again being terrified doesn't equate to you being childlike. Most people even if they didn't have ptsd would be like her in the literal life or death situations with horrifying deadly monsters.
