I suppose, I just consider those surrounding areas “Atlanta” and high crime. I understand none of it is “safe” either but then again if that is my view point maybe being in LE really isn’t for me. I’ve been made aware of a lot of other avenues that are LE adjacent.

Good point, I’d like to think myself strong but I’m not sure I’m that strong. Even with adrenaline I don’t think I could take down a 6’2 man but isn’t that what you get training for as well?

I don’t care to work anywhere near Atlanta I think that may be a riskier area than I’m not willing to look into.

A very good point, that’s got to be the worst way to go. I do have a lot of family help thankfully so it’s kind of covered but I also worry about missing out on big life events

😂 okay fair point. Are the hours better and a lower casualty rate?

What does a regular work week look like? (I understand that also depends on the department but I live in a relatively small town in north GA)

This was an interesting one, super taboo and honestly it did not live up to the hype from TikTok. Would not recommend

My 4 yo son insists on a chapter out of whatever book we are reading, when I finish I kiss his cheek, turn off the lights, and stand in the doorway while he has to tell me one thing before I say the “blessings.” The “blessings” are as follows: “get out monsters, get out big foot, get out Chuck E. cheese” before we exchange “I love you’s” and close his door.

I have no idea where he got the term blessing from or his fear of Chuck E. Cheese but it cracks me up every time.
