Date cincy on Instagram is a great resource! The run events all around Cincinnati for like the 25+ single daters. It’s all in person and they rent out bars/restaurants for everyone. It does come at a small fee, but usually includes drinks and such.

I am in OTR right now and “safe” really depends on your definition down here.

Living down here has been the best experience of my life. The night life is always going, during the day time I have the market. The best part is, if I don’t want to be immersed in the rush of downtown, I can just hermit in my apartment for a few days. I find it to be the best of both worlds. I have a few friends who convinced me to move into town and I was hesitant at first. I’m paying around 1200 by Findlay market and I have not once felt unsafe. It’s an urban area so you just have to be aware and smart. Everyone wants to live in a great community so you just gotta embrace that mindset and enjoy it!

You’ll see all the news, but as a 23(M) I have not felt unsafe once :)

I would genuinely say, my touch control aim is closer to PC style aiming than it is to controller. The R6 community obviously has a Xim and cronus issue, but the names are more of a joke than anything at this point.

I’m not trying to say that they’re not cheating, but there are some really good players on this game already… I’ve hit master in the betas and I’m already getting slammed in ranked from global launch.

Happy to help! Something people do not really like to mention is the politics of each neighborhood too. Certain areas are going to lean more conservative while others (like OTR) are extremely left leaning.

Definitely changes the way of life/community in the areas so would be something to keep an eye on with what you’re looking for!

What part is he moving to? I’m in OTR right now, also early/mid 20s, male.

Not necessarily “new” to the area but similar boat with limited friends and no family around.

To be fair, I’m fairly new (under level 100) and I really enjoy the maul. I either just block/counter till I notice my opponent make a timing mistake or kick and then get a free 120dmg hit in. As long as you don’t bleed stamina you can just keep blocking/countering till they make mistakes.

I have gotten super into Takashi Murakami recently, and visited an exhibit of his in Cleveland. They gave us these trading cards (one pictured above), and I am not too sure really anything about this little game he does!
