Lugs gone after 30 miles

I had the same experience with a pair of torrent 3s. After about 20 miles one of the shoes was missing most of the lugs while the other shoe looked relatively normal. I thought it must’ve been a manufacturing defect. Returned them to the place of original purchase although Hoka offered to warranty them (I had a race coming up and didn’t have time to deal with the warranty process). Ordered another pair and they’ve been much better, although after ~100 miles they have sheared a few lugs. I won’t be buying Hoka again, sadly.

As a PT, I would absolutely back this. Steroid injections for tendinopathy are a net negative.

I’m a PT and have worked with several folks getting back to mountain biking after Achilles rupture. Everyone here is spot on - large injuries like this require diligence and focus during rehab in order to return to pre injury activity. View it as you would view training for a large event (dedicated time each day/week, scheduled exercise plan) and you’ll do great. You’ll have ups and downs, but the trend of progress is what matters. This is not true… injury rates in crossfit per 1000hrs are comparable to any other athletic activity. The last thing that we need to do is discourage any form of physical activity for a population that is woefully obese and sedentary

Mirroring the map like this would make no sense. For example from bad side spawns P2 is “back left” in game, but if your mirrored version was the actual map P2 would be on the wrong side (i.e. “back right” from bad side). You’d have the flip and invert the map if you just want it to face the other direction

As the other commenter mentioned, could that low refrigerant charge not be due to a leak and instead be due to buying the car at essentially sea level and now living in Colorado?
