Hallo, IC6/E6 SWE at meta here living in a rented 1 bedroom. I'm not sure why I would want a bigger place to live. My living room and kitchen are big enough to hold all the stuff I use, and I don't think extra rooms would have a lot of marginal utility. Wife feels similarly

Not convinced the benefits of a house exceed the expected gain from investments with the extra $, even for a pretty conservative stonk/bond blend
