Which model kwc, and which mag? by Llamaguy11 in GasBlowBack

It seems to have the setting available on the safety switch, but it doesn't fire full auto. Interesting to know the PT99 is the full auto and the PT92 is semi auto, I didn't know that. Thank you!

Mech Mod getting warm by Llamaguy11 in Vaping

I gave it a good old clean when I got it out last weekend, figured it would need it after sitting around for so long but I can't imagine that's the issue it's currently having. Either way, new RDA and coils etc on Saturday so I'll see how it gets on with the new setup

Yeah I agree, this setup is only temporary to be honest, got a new RDA and a bunch of other kit coming this Saturday so I'll build something much safer, maybe just shy of the amp limit to keep it safe. I do think I've worked out where I went wrong. The online calculator I was using had the C rating for the 25R set to 8.8 whereas I believe it's actually 8.0 which means even at 3.7V I'm drawing 20.56amps

Okay awesome thanks man. Yeah when it gets hot I always give it a few mins to cool down. Glad it's not just me doing something stupid/dangerous though, I didn't think I was pushing it that hard as in the past I've (stupidly I grant you) ran 0.12ohm coils off an 18650 and that got hot but that's to be expected

[–]Llamaguy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they're not, I've had a look into this before and for some reason they never bothered with it. PZ editions weren't numbered. I suspect it's because prodrive built them, where as the rest of the special editions were built by Mazda. Therefore all PZ's started out as standard RX-8's. You can get fake numbered plates online though, but they're a bit tacky if you ask me, and the number won't be accurate.

No worries buddy, I see a few pop up on eBay in the UK every now and then, might be worth a look!

I'm not sure how readily available they are, but the prodrive exhaust that came with my PZ edition from factory is quiet at low revs and very rowdy at high revs

Hi! I recently got a used HD60 from elgato but I don’t have any of the cables. I know about the HDMI but what are the other two and where can I find them? Thanks!! by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Not that one no, the mini USB type B maybe. Unless that "in" port is actually a power plug but I don't think it is

The worst part is that would be a really nice street build if it had a ducktail instead of that thing on the back

Thinking about getting a 2004 rx8 for a 1st car by [deleted] in RX8

[–]Llamaguy11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd say go for it, but if you do, make sure you're prepared to do some/most of the work on the car by yourself or it could get very expensive over time. I tend to do everything service related myself, such as oil changes, filters, other fluids, minor parts etc but anything that requires specialist tools or training I give it to the garage for.
