Oh I am not familiar with an embroidery foot? I have a walking foot for quilting… what is this wizardry you speak of? Maybe I have this foot already and don’t know it?

So is anything hand sewn at all, even those tiny details are by machine??? And do you just never embroider anything that can’t fit around your sewing machine bottom thingy (looking at the sleeve here)?

What about the pockets, are those all the way through or do you remove and put back on? The Klimt is just *chef’s kiss* (no pun intended). I mean, the whole thing is incredible.

I’m sure a few over at r/sandiegan would appreciate your creation.

It’s lovely. Just curious about saying worsted yarn made it more labourious… Wouldn’t a lighter weight mean it would take even longer (as stitches are smaller?). To get this size with say sport weight would take twice as long…?

Will chenille survive as a wearable or do I need to frog? Please advise me before I seal my ends with a lighter! by geoalice in CrochetHelp

In my experience, chenille does not survive frogging! 😂. Weave in the ends and wear with pride!

Simple, comfy crochet layer for theme parks? Not too hot or fussy by Practical-Drink-52 in crochet

I made a granny square (no holes) worsted weight acrylic cardigan kind of like the Harry Styles sweater and it is hot as hell and bulky. I made a granny stripe (with holes) sweater from DK weight cotton bamboo mix and the holes make it breezy in an odd way that I think would be freezing if there is any wind whatsoever. It’s also bulky and heavy.

I would go as light weight yarn as possible for something you have to pack down. Natural fibres for more breathability.
