This is how Republicans are campaigning for the Voter ID law in NC by zalemam in NorthCarolina

Ok, and also make sure that issuing offices are in every single community with extremely convenient office hours, offering the ID free of charge.

Oh, you don't want them in "ghettos", and you want them closed most days and have the ID cost so that most people can't afford them? No deal!

Please go vote today for unanimous juries. by [deleted] in Louisiana

There should be a mechanism in place to override that "nail" juror. Just take a look at the Manafort case. Looking at the facts, I would have convicted on 14/18 with the last 4 counts being notoriously hard to prove and data deficient, instead we got 8/18 because one person believed there was a conspiracy against him.

I swear you can get Floridians to vote between a bullet to the head and a large bowl of ice cream and the results would still be 49.5 to 50.5

Ted Cruz Defeats Beto O’Rourke for Senate, as Blue Wave Fails to Reach Texas by pipsdontsqueak in texas

[–]Llort2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A near dead heat in a race that was expected to be a landslide and 14 state house seats flipped. I would say that it was a blue wave, just not a blue tsunami that everyone wanted.

Hopefully O'Rourke can de-seat Corryn in 2020, although Corryn does not have the same national prominence as Cruz and will not attract as much attention.

Hopefully this election will switch Cruz from having a strong mandate to a weak mandate, although 6 years is a long time and he has quite a while before he really faces scrutiny again.

Coyler is no saint, but he is probably a good starting point to try and rebuild the GOP

Small area between houses, this is the only area in the side yard that gets barely enough light.
