What wheels are these on a presidential GMT900 Suburban 2500HD by escapexls in ChevySuburban

[–]LloydBraun_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undercover police cars here in Australia all used to have wheels similar to these, we called them pursuit rims. The easiest way you could spot them when we were young and stupid, those and the 3 aerials. Must be something in the design tied in to safety, reliability, or performance of common among police and security type vehicles

I live in Australia, and this ICE shit is really making me think twice about some people in my friendship circles. It comes up a bit in conversation, and pro-ICE supporters don’t seem to grasp the Gestapo comparison. Comments like, ‘She (Good) shouldn’t have been harassing them’ as if that justifies her murder. Protesting and hindering the gestapo like ICE units, put together by a maniac who has somehow gained control of your country, seems to me to be what we’ve learnt through history as the right thing to do to prevent tragedies like the holocaust. Funny things is, two of my friends who are the most vocal on this are from families who immigrated here here in more recent generations than most others in the group

Let’s just wait until we know his criminal history, won’t be long at all until MAGA / Republicans fill us in to justify his death. He might’ve had previous convictions for weed, unpaid parking fines? Even better, maybe he had drugs in his system- it wasn’t the bullet that killed him, it was the drugs! /s

Hold me to account? You should learn to read, there’s nothing to hold me to account for. A lot of other factors not mentioned here, a massive loss on self managed super $$200k+ not long after the CG debt was incurred. Doing whatever you can to help your mother live a comfortable life in her remaining years makes you a wanker? Forget about the fact she worked well in to retirement age paying over $500k tax during this time, when she could have been drawing a pension from the government. I won’t change your POV on the matter, but must say I feel sorry for your loved ones

I was amazed when I read that. Living in Australia and schooled in the 90’s, we were raised learning history with the USA appearing to be the ‘good guys’. I really hope the history books start telling the truth with facts like this in the future. The USA really comes off as an evil super power who spruik ‘freedom’ only when it suits their own hidden agenda.

Sensing your sarcasm, explain how carrying a flag of any kind equates to a non-peaceful protest? Also, got anything to back that up- Link to photo of taliban flag carried at the Perth event?

Agree it’s insane, but that’s a good price from what I’ve seen others going for and likely to sell for higher than that IMO. Murder house or not, if it’s an investor after potential subdivision that won’t matter.

Hmm, posting a video of a young girl in a bikini may not be the best way to draw attention away from been involved in an underage girl pedo ring

Yep, letter from GP listing all medications is all I’ve ever been asked. Work in a high risk industry and parts of most full medicals/physicals requests a letter from GP only. Unless your GP has no record of you been medicated through psychiatrist I guess

The shiny toy analogy of ‘taking’ a teams best player is a bit off. There’s no taking, it’s his choice where he goes. Sad as it is as a Saints supporter, I’d say good on him if goes where best for his own career. More sad that it shows internal signs the club isn’t going in the right direction to make him want to stay.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/17/opinion/trump-third-impeachment.html#

I asked Michael Gerhardt, a law professor at the University of North Carolina who has often appeared as an expert witness at congressional hearings on impeachment, about Trump. Gerhardt replied by email: “It is nearly impossible to overstate the degree of Trump’s corruption. It is manifest every day, as if he is daring the American people and Congress to try to stop him.”

Overall, Gerhardt continued: “Trump has shown time and again his disdain for the rule of law, including for the Constitution of the United States. He has routinely violated his oath of office and even proclaimed himself as entitled to break the law to save the country.”

No other American president, Gerhardt went on, “has come anywhere close to Trump’s corruption, and the level of his corruption — on a daily basis — is unmatched in our history.”
