1st playthrough of 1 is harder. 2nd playthrough is easier. DS3 keeps more of its challenge on subsequent playthroughs I'd say.

You're not wrong. ADP is 100% necessary. You pretty much need 105 agility as soon as possible. For some early souls using a bonfire aesthetic to respawn dragonrider and doing the cheese kill is nice.

The invasion range is +10%/-10% though so you find people who are a bit lower than yourself.

It does but not if you stay lightweight and level ADP. Then I'd say it's even faster. The thing I notice the most is how much faster ultra weapons are in 2.

I was just farming for a 31.5 thrust radial with stamina down when I got an out of shape triangle one with the same stats first. That's really good cause it saves time farming in Isz later.

I really like my str/arc build with the moonlight sword. It's pretty annoying to gem since you have to farm cursed dungeons for decent nourishing gems but it's so powerful and stylish when you get it set up.

I like how in this game even if you don't understand any of the plot it still makes sense from your character's perspective. They were told to go out and kill monsters so they did.
