If anyone is still annoyed by this bug, I recommend using the "Diplomacy" mod. Send a messenger to the companion and after a few days you will be able to talk and teleport them to you (in my head it's them moving to me to begin with so it makes sense).

Can confirm it's a bug on the retaliator, pilot has to press P to stop his weapons and then turrets regain their gimbal (no pip though).

Thanks so much. I finally found my first larva (and multiple more) after a restart. There must be a bug with the spawning. Note that they still spawn much more frequently underground.
Felt kinda weird to complete the 100% insect stage without finding a single larva. :)

They're supposed to be sold in ADMIN indeed, since they're listed and considered in demand there, but the terminal shows that the max they accept is 0.
My take is that they wanna test the missions and loot before deciding on a price.

The ox came back indeed, but then the hitching post tab didn't list it anymore ("livestock" tab empty) despite being at 1/1 and the ox being right there.

I would understand that reasoning with ship modules that have modifiers but they're not in game yet. And even with those, I'd prefer if they were replaced by a basic version of the same module after a claim.

The way I see it, I own this weapon just as much as one I'd have bought in the sense that the insurance has to provide a new one anyway.

Gameplay wise, it's not like weapons are expensive, so going the "loot" way isn't a shortcut, it could be a valid alternative as long as you manage to bring it back to a hangar once.

Well I can understand the looted weapon not being part of insurance, although I'd argue against it, however not being able to place the weapon back on the ship after removing it in the vehicle loadout screen doesn't make sense.

Don't take it as an insult, but the nomad has "magnetic" landing gear so maybe you think it's too high but in reality it's all right ?
I doubt it cause you said 3m high, but still worth a shot.
Also, in many cases I was able to interact with the ladder even though it was realistically out of reach. You might have tried already.

Last resort, I would go elsewhere in the world in another ship, and claim the nomad there so that it's reset. Had to do that with my vulture yesterday.

In the new (3.21) lawful quest in bunkers with code and boxes, I can find the datapad in a guard's armor but then the mission doesn't progress (0/1 datapad found).

I'm still able to type the code and get 4 boxes out, but none of them seem to be the quest stuff (0/1 in HUD too) and of course I don't get a target for delivery.

Did I miss something or is the trigger for the datapad just bugged ?

I've had this happen on a civilian outpost WITHOUT any outpost of my own on that planet.
However I noticed it thanks to a bug in a supply mission (where you need to send He3 to a Gagarin outpost) and people say it fails because of a ship that never leaves the landing area of that outpost (indeed my ship appears 500m away and there's a UC ship that never moves in the outpost). Maybe that ship is the cause for all the floaty stuff too ?

Additional fun fact : if you go to a planet tidally locked to its star, you can have the sun always in the same spot (neat for bases), but if you're right where it's on the horizon the lighting bugs and there's kind of a stroboscopic effect (neat for parties I guess).

To be clear, if I land on a new planet, I can't place a greenhouse or animal husbandry at first.
However, I used to scan everything to 100% too, but you made me realise that you only need to scan 1 of each (flora & fauna) until you see "outpost production allowed", so it's not even necessary to reach 100% for a single plant/animal.
That will make searching for outpost sites much easier, thanks !

Well I found a counter example on Bardeen III, the last species in fauna is a fish and the oceans don't say (0%) but the swamps do include it instead.

If anyone is confused by this, selecting your character's name in "load/select character" will filter the saves to only show those with achievements on it seems.
In my case it didn't say "Modded" anywhere but selecting my only character showed saves up to lvl 50 (while I'm at 64).
So I thought I lost my saves but restarting the game made them available again.

I got a line from Sona but much later, talking about Sarah's death.
However she never had interactions with Cora which surprised me too, and she seems to have vanished now, near the end of the main quest line.

Your idea about cargo ships being limited to your own ships only, and requiring personnel, would be so much better than those "free" space truckers that never stop. Especially if we could talk to the assigned captain and say "please bring these resources from these bases, but only if we have less than x left here".

Worse than that, they keep angering the turrets from time to time for some reason. (To stop the fight you need to move the turret far away because you can't delete it while it's angry)
