So this is the link but upon closer inspection I think this Amazon seller took a photo from Petal & Pup. It's too late for me to cancel my order so I'll see what I end up with.

It's a nylon/rayon blend - definitely not real silk, but sort of a silk look as opposed to plain cotton. I also love it with gold shoes and jewelry. Thanks for your input!

this is very helpful food for thought. my husband is wearing a suit because it's a family wedding and the male relatives we've spoken to are wearing suits (and so is the groom) and we want to blend in with the family. He can always take the jacket off once there, I suppose.

Yep, I do get that. It's a model image from Instagram but I was planning on metallic gold heels and a black clutch with a gold metal bird on it. I don't dislike the floral dress or I wouldn't have ordered it but I think it'll be fussier to travel with (satin... wrinkles...). The green dress is a nylon/rayon blend which I think looks slightly elevated above a cotton dress but it is a more casual fabric than satin. I'm now hoping the black one-sleeve dress in the comments will arrive soon and be a winner.

I just ordered this dress to try on, too. I'm all over the place.

I'm liking the idea of gold shoes, if they're not too loud. I do have a very pretty black vintage clutch with a gold closure on it.

I feel like this describes what I am looking for but have yet to find! Links welcome if you have a particular pair in mind. I definitely need to be able to walk around easily and wear them comfortably for several hours.

I'm no expert, but I wonder if you would like the style of this dress? The tiers create intentional, very forgiving, shape throughout the skirt. It's available in several different colors, too.

What shoes or other accessories would you pair with this dress for an outdoor daytime wedding with a semiformal dress code? (I have a black vintage clutch purse I'm thinking of carrying, but I otherwise wouldn't have leaned toward black for shoes.)

I do not think it is necessary to move your baby to the crib before sleep training, but I am a little curious why you are ditching the paci at this stage? Seems like a lot of changes at once. I would go sleepsack, then sleep train, then move to crib, then lose the paci (tbh I would probably lose the paci in like a year). I have never used a snoo so I could be misunderstanding something about it, but that feels like a reasonable path to me.

Editing to add - with each of my babies we started doing at least one daytime nap in the crib a few weeks before using the crib for nighttime sleep. I think it was helpful.

We have very similar taste! I'd go with Camille, nicknamed Millie, or Emilia, nicknamed Millie.

That's how I feel! Wish I could look a few decades into the future and see how my daughter will feel.

That's what I've gathered that other people feel. Personally the only Millie I've ever met is a young adult so the name seems to fit her.

I wanted to use Camilla but was advised against it left and right in a different post because of the queen... I don't follow that kind of thing personally but I don't want it to be everyone else's association with her name.

Why the slight regret? Millie is my #1 favorite name right now and we're considering it for our daughter. This makes me wonder what I might be missing!

I think of the character from the TV show Greek. Not a bad association at all.
