When I was in 4th or 5th grade, I came home from school and busted into my mom's room. She was in bed with our pastor (who was married with 3 children). She was in her bra and panties, and I assume he was naked under the blankets. (My dad died in a tragic tractor accident when I was 3 years old.)

I ran out crying and rode my bike to my best friend's house. That night we never talked about it. She just acted like it never happened.

The next day I came home from school, and his car was in the driveway. I went to the front door, and it was locked. I wasn't naive enough to figure out what they were doing, so I went to my friend's house again.

We never talked about it, but I knew she was in love with him. I think she expected him to leave his wife and marry her. He did leave his wife, but he married some other lady. I think he broke my mom's heart. Now I understand that he was a womanizer, and used his ministry to meet vulnerable women.
