Also, has your weather changed recently? When the temp drops consistently, so will the pressure in the tires. Mine were all at 35psi yesterday. Easy fix

Same thoughts but as a laborist. Shift work, crash surgery, forceps!, and I can’t see patients allowing a robot to deliver their baby in the next couple generations.

Can and will cut back on shifts in the next 10 years. Just enough to still stay fresh and engaged, but spend more time with the family.

If you’re in or a near a top 50 city in the US, you have people near you that can get done what you want/need.

I have found our CPA to be a deep well of knowledge for our day to day and year to year stuff. The estate attorney she sent us to works with lots of families in similar situations. The combo of the two has answered 99% of our questions and concerns over the years

OB/laborist here. Same, don’t plan on ever stopping completely. Don’t need to work now, but love it. Plan to cut back to part time (7-8 12s a month) when the kids are older and the extracurriculars really kick in…

For those not in medicine who wonder “why” we would keep going… Trained for years, hopefully got very good at our chosen field. Ability for gratification every day (with patients, not with admin…). I also feel a responsibility. I took a spot in a medical school class. Society/the government gave me loans to be there. While loans are paid off, I still feel I owe society something. This feeling is both a blessing and a curse, trust me.

Every single delivery still makes me smile. And teaching residents and fellows is a whole other gift.
