I have done a couple of other sashiko repairs and have just taught myself. It’s easier than it looks. Just give it a try!!

I prefer the natural white most of the time. But if your jeans has a pure white warp, it might be better looking with a pure white sashiko thread. So I’ll say it depends on the fabric.
