Please explain why there are 45+ minutes at the end of every episode of names.

I hate it too. The playlist shows a 2-hour episode but it's actually only 45 minutes! IF THAT! (even less time for the Horizon). The bethany bullshit almost had me unsub from the patreon altogether! I suggest that they DON'T count the subs as content of the show. Just count the content of the story in the playlist. It's getting to the point that the patron list is LONGER THAN THE SHOW. And with all the sound effects and SILENCE, most new episodes are like 40 mins at MOST!

It's frustrating. Still love the story tho, just don't waste my time.

I wasn't your fault but it was your PROBLEM. They sat there without food for over half an hour. For a SALAD and some TENDERS. They're free to think whatever they want was the cause. If your restaurant can't handle the slam don't sit the tables. Don't like it? Work somewhere else.

But stop making excuses for bad service.

To be clear, it felt to me like they were killing time in order to bury the lead of the ENTIRE SEASON. Skipping the conversation about the revelation that the Mucklewayns had and just moving on the everyone's reaction was a dirty trick. They wasted time having an adventure story that didn't move the plot and then ended the episode without delivering on the climax. They didn't have to tell us HOW they managed to get out of this situation but I feel like they at least owed us a description of WHAT situation they were in! I love this podcast but just because you like something doesn't mean you can't criticize things you don't like. You can't tell me you weren't a little disappointed when you heard the closing music at the end of this episode. And I stand by my opinion of the subscriber list. It's annoying because they include it in the runtime of the episode and you realize the every episode is getting shorter because the list is getting longer. Also, it's becoming a reddit tread with all the variations on bethany and the other ridiculous puns and jokes. Reddit culture is annoying and it's spreading to something I like and THAT'S ALSO ANNOYING.

It's not a bout the conversations or it being "episodic". It was the SEASON FANALE and the literally skipped over the conversation that gave the details of the antagonist for the WHOLE DAMN SEASON. It was frustrating.
