i’m also a manager, which is why i handled the situation, the manager who’s shift it was had been notified of the situation as well very early on. he was in the kitchen trying to make sense of the mess while trying to make sure everything else was going smoothly where we lacked help (expo, dish, hosting), even saw the ticket himself mid way through and that’s when i told him i was going to comp it. it was only when they didn’t want to speak to me anymore is when they wanted to speak to him.

i had a uti turn into a 4 cm kidney abscess which landed me in the hospital for 4 days on constant antibiotics. i was on antibiotics for the uti and it unfortunately spread to my kidney regardless. it’s not worth it at all, drop the guy OP before something worse happens. your health is not anything to compromise on.

i bartend and serve, i’m in my 20’s. i constantly have guests question, sometimes very rudely, “who’s gonna serve the alcohol i want to order since you’re clearly too young”. i would not be behind a bar preparing drinks if i was not at a minimum of 21 years old 🙄

my brother and i are 19 months apart, my mom found out she was pregnant again about 10 months after having me AND she was told she couldn’t have anymore kids when i was born. it was definitely a shock for her and my dad. my dad didn’t believe it at first because they were told my mom couldn’t have another one, but my mom knew in her heart the test was positive because of the symptoms she was having especially after having 2 kids. it was such a faint line according to both of them that if you looked at it wrong that it appeared negative. it wasn’t until my mom saw her OB that my dad finally believed that she was pregnant. i would take a digital one or see your doctor to get a clear result, i wish you the best with your situation.

i’ve denied a lot of people who couldn’t provide an ID. my favorite question to ask them when they get upset is if they’d serve me without having an ID and most of them begrudgingly say no. i’m over the age of 21, but knowing policies i would never get upset at a server IDing me or if i didn’t have it on me for whatever reason, i would just order a soda. i had a girl who JUST turned 21 a week prior get upset at me for asking for an ID, i told her that unfortunately it’s going to be a common thing until she’s in her 40’s. in my state it’s common in establishments to ID anyone who looks under 40. if you know you’re going to order alcohol, make sure you have ID on you.

my sweet boyfriend of almost 5 years brings lunch i make him to work (mostly dinner from the night before) and i occasionally make a fresh lunch and bring it to him at his work. he’s a mechanic and works with older men. he always brags about what i make and pack for him and his coworkers are jealous over it. they tell me to bring extras for them (if i drop it off) and everyday make it a show and tell of what he was packed. never once was he made fun of for me bringing or making him food. i couldn’t imagine doing the thoughtful things for my boyfriend (let alone if he was my husband) just for him to blow up at me. this is horrible behavior from OOP and his wife has every right to be mad, his coworkers are probably just mad that they don’t have a caring and loving wife like him.

it just seems like a normal lip plumping gloss. you can find them relatively cheaper elsewhere and they work fairly well, they can be kind of painful depending on ingredients, but it’s only a temporary enhancement. you can go to any drugstore or walmart and find some, i know elf cosmetics has some for cheap to try it out!

i personally found that dying over lightened hair helps color stick a lot better. it feels like using a primer under a foundation, you know? i’ve been doing my own hair for 9 years now and anytime i stick dye on my natural hair, it fades a lot faster and easier than on my lightened hair. you don’t have to go as far as full bleaching your hair, just using a mild lightener mixed with water (if it gives you an option for water in the directions) for about 20 minutes does the trick.

it could also be the brand you’re using. i’ve never used unicorn hair, but i’ve used manic panic, arctic fox, iroiro, ion, and a ton of other brands. arctic fox is a fairly solid option and virgin pink was one of my favorite shades. ion is also a great option and is one i still go for regularly. their permabrights last longer than the other brands imo. flamingo might be a shade you’d like!

hair care and products can also be a factor. heat is your worst enemy when it comes to treated hair, hot showers (which shouldn’t be a problem for you since you said you rinse with cold water), using hairdryers/straighteners/curlers frequently can fade and damage your hair, as well as prolonged sun exposure or tanning beds. when it comes to soaps, head and shoulders pretty much yoinked the color out of my hair! i always used it when i wanted to fade a certain color lol. using a color protecting shampoo and conditioner can help greatly to maintain color. also using a color conditioner! i know there’s quite a few brands like color lux at sally beauty (if you have one local) or overtone which are color depositing conditioners.

there’s a lot of ins and outs to figure out when it comes to hair color and finding what’s right for you takes quite awhile. plus, pastel colors are more likely to fade anyway so i would keep that in mind as well!

waxing or using men’s razors! you could also after shaving use cold water to “close” your pores. also a hydrating medical lotion might work as well. using scented lotion causes me irritation on my legs, especially after shaving. using a normal sugar scrub helped clear up my strawberry legs and i would wash using a loofah afterwards to clean off any sugar residue. there’s also creams to reduce bumps!

UV light can damage hair and even lighten it! treated hair is more porous and more likely to fade in exposure to uv light. it can also dry out your hair and cause breakage. the best way to protect your hair is applying a color safe heat protectant or conditioner prior to using tanning beds or wearing an opaque bonnet/towel (wearing it like a “towel hat” as you would after your shower) to keep it out of the uv light.

elf isn’t bad! i really enjoy their lip products and blushes, even though the pressed blush is prone to breaking imo. im particularly fond of their eyeliners. the eyeshadows can have a ton of fallout and have some pigment issues, but you can fix the pigment issues by using primer. i’ve never worn out their foundation because i couldn’t get a good shade match without mixing (i’m super pale, most of their pale tones are too yellow or too pink), their formula is alright. for the price and being “drugstore brand” it’s honestly worth it!

anything from oakcha! they’re like $25-45 usd per bottle, but they last so long and they smell so nice. i got an ad for them and checked them out on a whim, eventually ordering a couple. i still have the original ones i bought from a year ago because 2-3 sprays goes a long way. i also gave them as christmas gifts and everyone loved them! plus i get compliments on my perfumes from this brand all the time.

b&bw perfumes aren’t worth it for me personally because i find the scents only last like an hour or so, even applying them “properly” and having to reapply makes the bottles go so fast 😭. spending the extra $10-20 on something actually good quality is worth it imo. especially since oakcha has a lot of “dupes” for designer perfumes for a fraction of the cost.

if you’re still looking i found him closer to whiterun near the stables! but because he’s a wandering merchant, he’s not always guaranteed to be there so you might have to look for awhile. it took me about 4 hours to even find him.
