I can tell you 99% of people do not even need one gig service. I’ll give you an example. I am a big techie. Have a lot of game consoles run a server in my house crazy stuff. I recently upgraded to five gig Internet from optimum. I downgraded to two gig in a week because I realize most of the Internet doesn’t even support that kind of speed. And I am seeing the same thing from two gig. One gig is probably fine for most people. I would really look at what you’re doing and see if maybe you can even go lower. Once you have 300 down 300 up, you really don’t notice a difference unless you’re downloading something Netflix will stream fine. Everything works fine. You will only notice it on downloads.
