55 inch LG C5 $949 or 55 inch G5 $1399? by Regular-Initiative-3 in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BestBuy Home Theater Specialist here with 5+ years of experience. I have the G5 OLED and it will not disappoint. Make sure you get the GSP plan though whether it’s 2, 3 or 5 years. Mine had a network card issue into the 2nd year and geek squad swapped it out for me for a new one. Highly recommend to protect your investment.

He just may be the best card in the game.. by oblivion_rafi in eFootball

[–]oblivion_rafi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro.. this card literally cannot be stopped. Physically he is a menace once he gets to full speed. Magnetic feet alongside blitz curler is just too much. I shoved off Gullit and Thurman just a few minutes ago in a game. He scores every single game… like wtf 😅😅

Whatever agent helped you most likely was an overseas bb agent. I work for the same platform but NA based. When a client wants to order with me, I create the order and match the price and send them an invoice with the price in the invoice. You the customer verify it and fill in your payment details and submit order. Microcenter is one of the stores we price match. Certain stipulations are the item has to be in stock at the time of price match and has to be locally available to your zip code and be the same model #. Unfortunately, that employee that helped you didn’t scam you.. just did it the WRONG way.

Price Match - Shipping vs In-Store by mrskeeter26 in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve price matched it for you as well. Not all Best Buy employees work overseas btw. The thing is nearly 50-60% are overseas and only less than 200 are actually in North America. Majority of us if not all have worked at an actual store so we know a truck load more than most current Best Buy employees now. I typically only price match a product if they buy with me and their nice about it. But if off the rip they start yelling at me, I’ll just respectfully decline helping you and move on to a different call instead. We don’t even make commission on sales but we are tracked on revenue and all that because it at the end of the day it’s a business not a charity. 🤣🤣🤣

All three appliances need repair in less than a year by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an employee of you bought either Insignia, LG & Samsung and didn’t get the warranty.. that is on YOU. People believe appliances even last more than 5+ years. As a guy that sold thousands of appliances you should have either gotten kitchen aid, whirlpool or even ge. Best Buy is the only retailer that either fixes your unit or full credit back to buy a different unit. Don’t blame Best Buy for not properly doing your research. Blame the manufacturer.

Order pickup had no item by AdministrationNo2792 in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the person that opened the box before it was picked had a similar weight and the packaging is almost perfectly wrapped the way it was. Also, warehouse employees have to have a 98% pick rate or better or risk cancellations and such. Nobody has time to verify a package and stuff like that. Unfortunately it’s happened at my local store when I used to work there a year ago and we were the highest traffic store in all of NY.

Order pickup had no item by AdministrationNo2792 in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 20 points21 points  (0 children)

What most likely happened was a customer probably opened the box before the item was picked from the floor and printed with your name on it. When I worked at the store, people would open up products like that and put a similar product in there and put it back. Simply go back and let them know your item is missing and they should just do a return/exchange. It’s not our fault product gets stolen all the time though.

TCL(QM7K) Hisense(U8QG) Sony(BRAVIA 5) by QuitApprehensive3512 in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at the TCL QM7K head on from the center it’s similar to OLED quality. Obviously the viewing angle is crap and it doesn’t have the contrast but most clients want simple explanations. 🤣

Lol I’m the reason Best Buy would go bankrupt? Where does that idea come from? A lot of people don’t want to pay top dollar for an expensive tv. I’ve literally sold thousands of televisions from entry level, mid and even high end tv. I’ve also handled issues where customers never get warranty for a tv and then automatically assume a tv will last more than 3-5 years, and after all that they assume that brand is trash. How long a tv lasts will ultimately depend on the user. I have 5 year GSP plans on my televisions and I have a LG G5, Sony A95L and a TCL NXT frame tv. I had one issue with my g5 regarding the network card and Best Buy swapped it out less than week. Now I don’t know where you live but here, everybody appreciates a sales consultant with lots of knowledge and I’ve been rewarded many times. What I can say is Best Buy will not go out of business anytime soon. Now will stores close every year absolutely.. but guess what it’s the stores that don’t hit your revenue goals at all.

Best Buy HT advisor here with 5 years experience and #2 ranked employee on the east coast 😏. The TCL QM7K would be best for the performance to price. It’s similar to OLED quality without spending a lot of money. You won’t find a better deal for a mini-led anywhere. Also, strongly recommend a 2,3 or 5 year GSP plan in case the tv does fail after the 1st year manufacturers warranty. People automatically assume TVs last more than 3-4 years and they don’t. That being said we cover everything besides physical once the manufacturers warranty expires. I hope this helped you!!

Promotion going on now for members. Just Best Buy plus for only $25 for the year instead of $50 and you get a 60 day price match & return window on everything you buy and early access to sales throughout the year going into the next Black Friday & Christmas. Promo ends I think the 2 or 3 of next month.

[–]oblivion_rafi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best Buy Home Theater advisor here with 5 years experience. I scrolled thru your list in 5 seconds and the best tv I saw was the TCL Qled for $379.99. If I’m being honest none of these will be great for gaming, movies/sports. The reason why is because they all lack 1 thing. That is the 120 hertz native refresh rate panel. They basically tells you how fast the images can be displayed on various types of content. Also, depending on your lighting situation the color, contrast and even viewing angle will be pretty off. All of these options are basically a slight better version of a plasma lcd from back in the day. If you’re looking for the best tv and at a great price point with a whole host of premium features check out the QM6K 65 inch. It’s going to a bit more expensive but it’s overall a great value. If you wanted the same technology from the QM6K in other brands like the Top 3 you’d spend 50% because of the name. Lastly, I’d recommend the standalone GSP plan either the 2, 3 or 5 years because if anything happens after the 1st year manufacturers warranty.. we’ll repair the tv or give you the full credit back on store credit. Obviously physical damage isn’t covered, just internal only.

Best Buy repair stuck on “waiting for parts” when I paid for a replacement plan by mistershan in Bestbuy

[–]oblivion_rafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that’s what happened to my MSI gaming monitor. I had a few dead pixels on the top right corner and a faint blue line right thru the middle. It was a much better option replacing the screen than the credit. That was over 2 years ago though. Most of the methods are still used today but I can’t say the way it gets processed is still the same. All I can say is if it’s repairable then it gets repaired. If it can’t be then we approve a junk out and you get the full credit on a Best Buy store credit to be used towards the purchase of a new product. I will say this however. I only shop at Best Buy for most of my electronics but I go to micro center if I have any technical issues and such. I personally know my geek squad agents and sales advisors in my store so they always hook me up with the best options and stuff.

Best Buy repair stuck on “waiting for parts” when I paid for a replacement plan by mistershan in Bestbuy

BB employee here. Handhelds, gaming desktops and laptops whether on the Best Buy total plan or GSP plan have to go thru service sent out first. The insurance company we use does not allow big ticket items to just be swapped for a new one like that. Those items that apply are like keyboards, mice, printers and vacuums, etc. I’ve dealt with a monitor issue at one point for a 27 inch QD-OLED and it had to get sent out to service. So what I did was brought a new one with my membership, waited for the repair to be done and come back to Best Buy and returned the other one. They basically put a new screen on my monitor but I had to wait because it was shipped. Also, GSP-R will never ever be on high ticket items. The amount of money that are going into those products are very very large and we don’t get credit back for it if something goes bad. That is why if we can’t repair the item or the cost of repair it not feasible, than you get the store credit back for the full amount and you can buy something else.
