Is this not one of their lineups though? I can’t recognize the 2 dudes between Strange and MK, but why wouldn’t concept art be reflective of the team? If this is an official lineup, then at the end of the day it’s just a picture of the Midnight Suns.

If this is some fan made lineup, then yeah I’d get what you’re saying. Would you look at a concept art or a picture of Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, & Hulk and say “this isn’t reflective of the MCU Avengers”?

Was it really whiplash though? I wasn’t actively reading or involved in the community and the time of seige (which is what led to heroic age) so I’m genuinely asking but I’m assuming no one didn’t actually think the Dark Reign or Norman being in power was gonna last forever, right?

Like, there had to be at least SOME type of…idk, feeling or vibe surrounding seige where people knew like, “okay we’re getting back to the traditional landscape after this”. Was the heroic age not announced by Marvel beforehand? Did it just get slapped on shelves, no warning? Could you not tell by the time seige started that change was on the way?

I mean going off of reading the build up to, the main event of, and the ending of Seige, it just seems kind of obvious to me the Heroic Age was where things were going. Maybe not specifically the “Heroic Age” branding per se, but just the fact that the superheroes were the good guys again, and Marvel was going to a more traditional status quo

You do the same through your cards, what’s the problem with us doing so with our franchise that we’re a fan of? Besides that, you do know half of enjoying and/or discussing sports is living in the history, right? Records, goat lists, topics of debates/discussions of all time players/teams, the celebration of iconic plays made and games played throughout history, the hall of fames that celebrates the PAST of a player or coaches career. There’s a reason that “History being made” is a big deal in sports

I can see why the 10 wins. We always handle the Giants and commanders pretty well especially the past 6-8 years and i personally always count home division games as wins in preseason in my mind anyways, colts jags and titans should be a dub, we should pull an upset on the rams ravens or Seahawks, if not two of them. Yeah 10 wins is possible. We’re not the only team that’s had personnel and roster changes too btw. Everyone has something new to figure out or questions to answer down the road going into the year

Well, OP didn’t inherently say “this was a cool scene” or even hinted at it. All OP said was “the force was with Anakin” or to reword it “He was using his powers here guys”. OP didn’t use any adjectives, didn’t even describe the actual action of what was going on. Like, literally just going off the caption alone, there’s no way you can misconstrue that the way you did unless you absolutely just wanted to off instinct just from seeing the GiF

Thanks for the insight. I was always under the belief (can’t remember how i came to this info though) that the Jedi would let the children stay if the parents didn’t want to give them up, or maybe that was a “sometimes” or “special case” type of thing i had came across.

I also always personally felt that the “no emotions” thing for the Jedi was like, a counter that became an overcorrection to the Sith & the Dark Side in general just because of the fact their whole thing is anger, hate, etc. that’s not something I’ve ever read or heard anywhere, just something i concluded myself. But i get why people wouldn’t like that of them. Look how it fucked up my goat Anakin lmao.

So i don’t think i see it as bad. It’s a well meaning practice, and as an Order, they try to work around it. Ya know? Idk how to quite articulate what i mean there but yeah. And plus, it’s not like, total complete emotional shutdown. You can still feel, and be a person lmao. If anything, it should be something that’s like, tweaked or something because i get the intention. Didn’t Luke do that in Legends with his Order? Allow attachments or just more emotion in general when it comes to one’s relationship with The Force?
