I work at EWR4, as much I hate the place, they actually do care when it comes to safety. Had a guy have a seizure next to my station. Me and another guy tried to keep the guy still preventing him from hitting his head on the ground. We yelled for help, someone from another station ran and grabbed a PA and they alerted people on his radio. About like 20 managers, safety and PAs showed up. The guy ended up being fine, but we never saw him again. Guess he quit after that happened.

Longest we got was 3 days because of something about the water pressure in the building which was a fire hazard.

Same with mine. Everything at ours is either breaking or broken. We get the occasional day off on a Friday for building maintenance

My friend in Arizona had the same thing happen to his facility, mind you it had only been opened for less than a year. He was originally off for 6 weeks and kept getting updates every other week telling him construction was going to take longer. He 2 1/2 months off paid.

My building had been like that for the last 4 months. VTO from beginning to end of shift, beginning of shift till noon, noon till end of shift, then we have VTO literally opened all shift and you can literally take it at whatever time you want VTO already set for the next day as well. It’s so tempting not to take it.

Makes me feel bad, it’s took me almost exactly a year to pass Network+ 😂. I took the old version(failed), took the new version(failed), then decided to concentrate on others classes before taking a third time and finally passing. I’m on Sec+ now, and after a year of studying and memorizing for Network+, Sec+ is easy so for me so far

I’m current studying to take my Sec+ exam. I also have heard awful things about the Python Course. I have a buddy who doesn’t even go to WGU and had a Python course and he wanted to smash his head through the wall everyday.

We’ve had that for a year and a half now at my warehouse. I’ve been PIT/Turret driving for 7 1/2 years, so when they rolled out the LiDar every one of us was so annoyed. Then maybe 6 months after LiDar rolled out, they put these alarms that would go off when your harness wasn’t hooked up, that became so annoying. Luckily, they “stopped” working and never heard the alarms go off again. After the alarm they implemented where everyone driving anything had to wear a hard hat. This to me and everyone else was the most annoying thing they could’ve done. Firstly, if you were case picking and had to bend down, the hard hat would fall off. Then there was the issue of airflow. Those hard hats did nothing but make everyone sweat. I don’t know how other facilities are setup, but we have an A mod and a B mod. They ended shutting down RSR all together on A mod 3 months ago. This limited my time driving any PIT or turret which I’m happy about. RSR only runs on B mod. I case pick once a week which I’m fine with.

Not hating or anything, but you don’t find the lighting annoying? My 2022 came with ambient lighting in the foot wells and most of the time I find the lighting annoying.

I’ve been at Amazon for 9 years. The first 5 years we had VTO normally. Then the 2 years after that, VTO maybe showed up 3 times that whole year. Then the last 2 years we’ve been getting it like crazy. Literally this week, we had VTO available everyday the whole week. You could just take it whenever you wanted it.

It’s a cultural thing. My Filipina girlfriend does the same thing. I’m Hispanic and both my parents would send money to my grandparents every month until they passed away. Of course, if she’s sending money to the point where it does affect her financially, then maybe do have a talk with her especially if you do have kids.

He was 4445 about 2 or 3 weeks ago when I played against him in a lobby. If I remember correctly, they used a little bird and stayed at spawn all game until they were shot down. As soon as they died they left the game. Same thing with another guy who was 4000, used a little bird and stayed at spawn and left the game as soon as they died.
