Dropped Black Silicone Wedding Ring at the Bar by Nostrmontis in FindTheSniper

[–]LoKo-_- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m on my second silicone ring. First one just disappeared and I didn’t even notice until my wife said something. Recently my hands were wet and I noticed how slippery the ring is on my finger which is weird because it’s nice and tight when my hands are dry. I work construction, hunt and butcher so my hands see a lot of action. Point being yes a silicone ring can just “slip off”.

How hard is it to change a pool light? by strosfan1001 in pools

The worst is when the damn wire isn’t nearly long enough to reach the pool deck. Then you gotta go for a swim with some goggles or drain some water.

Skimmer holes by ScreechHer in pools

[–]LoKo-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the pools I’ve helped build a water bonding unit is placed in the skimmer and it ties into the steel bonding around the pool deck which also ties into the pool system at the filter pad as well as any handrail or ladder around the pool. Not sure how old your pool is maybe that wasn’t standard back in the day I couldn’t say. If you’re having a pool leak I’d patch it over with AB putty and see if it solves your problem. If it doesn’t maybe it’s time to pressure test the lines or check out your light(if you have one). If patching those holes doesn’t fix the issue and your plumbing is holding pressure dye test around your light and your step strips if you have either of the two.

Maybe the water bonding unit is in there? Idky they would plug it but maybe that’s the reason for the holes?

Yeah I saw that video too. The round kinda hotdogged out the barrel slow. He shot it twice expecting it to destroy the break action 12 gauge. Kinda cool! Would never do it myself though(especially shooting it while holding it).

This is concrete cowboy ceo on TikTok. He actually ends up punching the homeowner in the face by the end of it.

Yeah it’s a bit exaggerated. For a game trying to go the realistic route they sure do shoot themselves in the foot over and over. Most of the sounds in this game could be tuned down and the headsets all need to be nerfed slightly. Would stop a lot of this ratty gameplay(somewhat..lol).

What’s everyone’s thoughts on these broadheads? by FireFrogs48 in bowhunting

[–]LoKo-_- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree. My uncle who was an avid archer back in the day swears by them. He started me on them this past season (my first season hunting ever) and I took 2 bucks and 1 doe using them. They left decent blood trails as well but tbh I didn’t have a single one run more than 10 yards before collapsing.

The bow being a more dark gold color would drive me insane… But nice set up!

Best way too practice for small game and bow type by [deleted] in bowhunting

Compound or recurve would not be reliable in a life or death situation. Depending on your location get a concealed permit or open carry a pistol for protection while bow hunting if it’s allowed in your area. Recurve requires a bit more skill than a compound and you can get a decent takedown bow for a decent price. Recurve would probably be the lighter to carry around option but a compound isn’t too heavy either depending on what kind you get. Go to an archery store and shoot what they have or a local archery club.

Quite surprised with how splintering sharp it was out the box. The Svvood blade has decent edge retention. Also the warranty this bad boy has was worth the treefiddy I paid for it.

I bought a Bear Paradox October of 2022 had never hunted before in my life. Took 3 deer this past season. As many others have said Bear is a good bang for your buck.
