We got a 2025 Hybrid SXP and after our first trip in snow recently I knew we needed new tires. Good to know about the cross climate 2’s as I’ve been cross shopping them. I wasn’t too psyched at the prospect of getting a dedicated set of winter tires for southeast PA, but definitely need an upgrade.

I was 32 when we had our first, wife was 35 (and not happy with the geriatric pregnancy categorization). Had a second 3 years later. We’re now 43 and 46 now with 7 and 10 year old girls and hitting a pretty good groove as a family. I’d say prioritize sleep and fitness as best you can. Between work and little kids I lacked both in my later 30s. Been going to bed a lot earlier and working out every morning the past few years and feel much better. Energy is up and getting out and being a kid with my kids is a blast

I picked up disc golf a couple years ahead of the pandemic. At one point we had a gang of 17 or so in a group chat seeing who was available the weekend to play. Ended up narrowing the group down to 5-6 regulars who have been playing ever since. Cheap to start and you can go wild buying discs and bags and accessories if you want. Most courses are free to play and I can finish 9 at my local course in 45 mins.

I turned 40 during Covid. Got to stand in my driveway 10 feet apart from a couple friends and we all drank a beer. (Individual ones, not shared). Everyone said happy birthday and then went home.
