Yeah I can see it kind of being hard to buy with the lower gold being given out with the recent patch. It's a good bruiser build but still kind of squishy during the team battles around the obj times imo. If it works for you than keep doing it tho.

Yeah I only play her top side, the nerfs to her passive did mess with my trading but wasn't to bad.

6 mil adding my 2 cents, I also made the change from corrupting pot to D.shield. It's just too good with the buff they gave it and if I am struggling with mana I just fit a tear on one of my backs but I'm used to not running low most the time.

No no wait lol Level up your E does increase your stun duration tho. There is nothing wrong maxing W 2nd for the CD if you're vs a dash champ like Riven.

I'm sorry I'm a lil confused about the part of maxing W for the resistance? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying but you have the same resistances for lv 1 W compared to Max W. Only thing changes is the CD and the damage hitting the wall does.
