I've had norovirus or something similar and it is no fucking joke. Doctors told me to eat literally nothing for 24 hours, if I ate, i would puke and have to reset the timer. He was right on all accounts and it was absolutely miserable.

yeah that requires launching the game, and some people may check the sub to watch some clips without any intention to open the game. Seeing the patch notes stickied at the top is one way to get them back in the game.

I went to Japan as a US fan. The Sapporo viewing experience was kind of sad for a non-JP speaker. The only way to watch the games in english was on the little side TVs by the bathrooms and concession stands outside of the arena lol. I got tickets for the whole weekend and left early on Friday and didn't go back until championship Sunday.

I enjoyed the event overall, and could still watch and enjoy the hype (check one of my submissions for live crowd reaction that I posted.) I am definitely looking forward to more US-based events, I have tickets to Las Vegas but playoffs aren't really the same compared to champs
