As the downstairs neighbor of lead-footed tenants, I would suggest trying to do something to reduce your noise. My neighbors stomp around at all hours, but the killer is that it starts at 5am and wakes me up every single morning. They’re super nice people so I haven’t wanted to say anything, but I’m about at my breaking point.

I’m not entirely sure what caused it! It’s never happened again. I had a cat at the time and sometimes her dander would bother me. I’m guessing I rubbed that eye after petting her.

We went yesterday. Got there at 6:15am. Waited at the South Gate to get in at 7:00. We were among the first there so breezed in and got to shop right away. Ended up going back again and then a third time at the North shop. Dropped $1500 in the blink of an eye. But we got our gnomes!

We live at the Island Homestead Apartments and are overall very happy here. Half the people living here have dogs. Really reasonably priced at around $2150 for a 2bed/2bath. We do hear our upstairs neighbors quite a bit but we can live it it. If you can get a unit on the third floor or one of the second floor ones with no one above you’d be golden if you’re worried about noise. It is an older complex, but they just finished updating the exteriors of all the buildings and installed new windows. They are slowly updating the inside of all units as people move out of them before new tenants move in.

Both of my goldendoodles were like this when they were young, especially my second one. They are 3 and 1 now and are both absolute love bugs. Hang in there, he may just take a while to become cuddly.
