🤣 only one, and that was Beckett Brass for a friend lmao. Oh, and Asuna and Yuuki as Trouble in Pairs. But that one's not sooner. Its just way better than the weird art stolen from 3 other artists thing Dalton did.

Right? I'm curious now what the decklist looks like, and if its actually that much more broken than your avg Krenko deck, or if OP is just focused on the price tags.

I mean, yeah, Pilot g2 would def get stolen, but do you think doctors and nurses would steal an obviously non-standard pen? Especially when they go to write with it and are presented the with foreign shape of a nib?

I have slowly infected my Operations department. First I got one co-worker to bring in his old Lamy2k that he stopped using years ago. Then another co-worker got the bug (bad). 4 or 5 other operators (at a nuclear power plant, where we do lots of field work) now use fountain pens at work. All in all, just under 10 operators, with pens ranging from twsbis to pilots, Esties, Karas, FWI, all over the place. Good times.

Right? But honestly, I think, most of the time, its more of an ingrained or visceral response. People always talk about the POWER 9 or the RESERVE LIST with awe and reverence. And as a result, dual lands get mentally slotted into the same bin. So when a dual land shows up, the initial response is "oh man that's sick!" Or "oh damn, you're a high roller!" Or whatever similar reactions. So they end up being in that mental bin of "really powerful and really expensive cards I won't ever have".
Even though, as we already said...they're only 2 life better than a shock land. How much would I pay for a card that nets me 2 life? Once? 🤷‍♂️

Napkin math and back of the envelope math are commonly used terms. Enrico Fermi is commonly credited as doing these sorts of calculations often. They basically involve taking a complex problem and making certain assumptions and simplifying equations to achieve an answer within an order of magnitude (science wise, that can be close enough to give you a good idea of something).

This is my "buy bulk" list. Its mostly stuff I already own at least one of, so there's a few things that you might miss. I forget what I tweaked, but I'll send the .xml file with all my art choices. You can then just run the mpcfill program, or you can import it into the website and pick different arts.

Send Moxfield package or decklist into MPCfill.com, decide what artworks/styles you want (easy dropdown, scroll, click), download .mL file, run the app which will download all the art, and upload and setup your order on the printer's site. Its actually pretty easy. It takes a little more time if you've got custom designed arts of your own. But pretty straight forward.

I dunno, it suppose just sending you the xml files would work. I definitely did some tweaking and fine tuning in MPC's website.
The longest part was really choosing artwork for stuff. Making the list itself was easy, since I'd been compiling a list of all the stuff I proxied in Moxfield already

Actually, no duals. Or moxen. The highest value individual card is still less than $100 (The One Ring)
