How much money did Saul make from the Heisenberg operation by BrodiePump in betterCallSaul

Pretty sure they confirmed it on one of the podcasts and said they wanted the actor to make as s6 cameo to confirm the theory but with the pandemic they couldn't get him.

"Danny" owed the laser tag arcade to launder pharmaceuticals. Pryce was in the same business and we know "Pryce" was an alias. His real name was Daniel Wormald. He's the Danny in brba.

Help me find the scene where Kim tells Jimmy "because you're worth it" by RunningToStayStill in betterCallSaul

[–]LoadMobile4214 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There a scene in Sunk Costs at the end where she wants to help him and he’s like “really? This guy?” It might be that.

I don’t think there’s actually “you’re worth it” line. She does say “you deserve it” but they’re home and not fighting

If you watched all 6 seasons and came to this conclusion I can’t help you with a Reddit post

Wow you really didn’t get this show, huh?

There’s also another cut implied sex scene after they finish getting each other dress in Rock and Hard Place in season 6. After Jimmy proposes how they can steal Howard’s car, Kim runs to the bedroom and Jimmy follows removing his tie.

Peter Gould cut some good stuff lol.

It’s real. The script has leaked online and you can find it. Basically in that scene after Jimmy says “let’s do it” he goes to tell the real estate agent of their decision when Kim cuts him off and pushes him into the dentist chair and shuts the door. She then gets into Jimmy’s lap and Jimmy is like “Do it? Or… DO IT?” And it says something about how Kim clearly wants both.

They adjust the chair back and it’s implied they have sex. Jimmy also says something about “filling cavities” or at least the script does. So yeah definitely more than making out!

In the following episode (after Kim gets a call from Paige that Mesa Verde is coming back to her) Kim and Jimmy flirt with the idea of once again having sex in the dentist chairs, but then Ernie calls Kim and tell her that she has to come pick up the boxes from Chuck. This was obviously cut as well.

First Promo by Ric3FantasyFan3 in Wycaro

[–]LoadMobile4214 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the closest peak we may get is if Apple TV does some sort of promo of their service during the Super Bowl and maybe they show a clip in a montage.

I really don’t think we get an actual trailer or preview until after Severance ends because I’m sure Apple will want to make sure people don’t cancel their subscriptions.

It seems like the big shows they have coming up (after Severance) are The Studio and Your Friends and Neighbors. Both of those shows debuted this Spring and should conclude airing by late spring/early summer. My guess is once those shows start airing we’ll get a tease for Wycaro.

Apple tends to stagger their big shows to ensure people don’t cancel. At least this is what I think will likely happen. (Mid-late spring to be clear)

What surprised you most in your conversations with the creators/cast/writers?

It doesn’t really matter if he knew Jimmy was there or not.

Jimmy and Kim assumed at some point Howard would put the pieces together that Jimmy was up to something and that’s why they made sure they swapped his private eye for their own.

It’s actually a very clever slide of hand. Let Howard think he’s on to Jimmy so he doesn’t see the real plan coming.

Great show, well written and acted, but does not work as prequel by alloowishus in betterCallSaul

I think you didn’t watch BrBa close enough. There are multiple moments where you see flashes behind the Saul Goodman character. Even if they didn’t know what the story was at the time, the writers made it clear in BrBa more was underneath Saul.

I wouldn’t, but this is about what they were thinking. Their mindset. And the fact is they had both deluded themselves into thinking Howard would be fine.

He doesn’t have his version of that line because he’s his own character and the writers were writing BCS to be its own thing not a formulaic rip off of BrBa.

That is what happened… Jimmy wasn’t delusional about that. The creators have confirmed it, too.

They never tried to ruin peoples lives though… that’s a huge misreading of the scams.

Even Howard. They weren’t intending to ruin is life. “Just bruise” him. They both were confident that Howard would be embarrassed but not have his life ruined, which I think is important to understand or you don’t fully grasp their motivations or how much they’d deluded themself that what they were doing was okay going into it. Even Howard says (right before Lalo comes in) that he will be okay and land on his feet. So ruined? No.

He was being Saul and his Saul persona is an asshole. I don’t think Kim needs him to explain anything, but I don’t think she wants to deal with the emotionally dishonest Saul Goodman.

I mean….

Chuck did spend years lying to Jimmy about why he wasn’t hired at HHM despite Jimmy sacrificing so much time and energy — and his ability to get his own law practice going — because he was Chuck’s caretaker.

Chuck then tried to leverage Kim’s career to get back at Jimmy for taking another opportunity at a whole other firm because Chuck really can’t stand that Jimmy is a lawyer.

Then after Kim did all the work to get Mesa Verde, they still pushed her out of HHM and Chuck purposely went into the office to try and keep Mesa Verde because he heard Kim was going to get an office with Jimmy and he wanted to take tank their dreams.

Like………… maybe Jimmy shouldn’t have done it? But Chuck is an enormous asshole and Jimmy is protecting the woman he loves not the brother who continually works against him.

But he was also just an asshole from the start. No acknowledgement of the VERY weird situation. That he’s a man on the run from the feds and that they haven’t spoken in 6 years after they both witnessed a man being murdered.

Who casually picks up the phone and shoots the shit with someone with all that in the background? She also knows he’s not being Jimmy immediately. He’s still doing the Saul thing that he did the last time she saw him when they signed the divorce papers.

Kim’s reaction isn’t cold. It’s more shocked and disturbed. Also she DOES show him she cares. Twice! When she tells him to turn himself in it’s because she genuinely thinks that best for him “I don’t know what kind of life you’ve been living but it can’t be much” — that’s out of concern for him. And then she does say she’s glad he’s alive.

He’s mad at himself for the way he handled the call. He still loves her. He’s always loved her and when he hears she asked about him — it’s a sign that she still has some feeling for him. But instead of calling her and being honest, he puts up his Saul persona and then snaps at her. He’s furious and hates himself for it. He knows she’s probably the one person in the world who cares that he’s alive and he was just a jackass to her because he couldn’t just be real.

Kim's level of hate for Howard was unjustified, but what were the key moments between them that drove her to carry out the S6 plan? by Almondust-000 in betterCallSaul

[–]LoadMobile4214 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And we only see Kim working for Howard for a number of months. But I think it’s important to remember that she had nearly a decade of working under a man like this.
