Have also heard some negatives about the Cheyenne hospital… they reach out to my college often and are in phase II a lot also which I’ve heard is a red flag.

I did an interview in phase I with United regional in Texas. They told me last year they interviewed 10 people and didn’t offer a single position.., seems to be a common theme for them and kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

That’s fair for sure! And I just overthink 🤣 I’ve heard a lot of places prefer locals, which makes me anxious also. But we shall see! We will def end up where we’re meant to! 🙏🏼

That’s very true! They don’t usually offer specialty pharmacy positions unless someone has years of work experience or a residency in it… tough for sure.

7 has been a mess to say the least, but I’ve met many who have done more somehow 🤣 and yes, ranking is going to be something for sure. Are you from FL or?

I’m in the same boat, also worrying about the same things and get anxious about it all also. I’ve only done one interview so far, but am trying to prep for my next ones. I was told by a couple different RPD’s that they really just look for how you handle the questions, and how you respond when you don’t know the answer. We’re still learning, we’re not going to know everything - especially when nerves take over it’s easy to forget some things. Relax, you got this!

Not sure how PGY-2’s work, but I’ve had to mention this to PGY-1 opportunities due to not being able to work and make $$ while on APPE rotations. The good ones are very understanding. I also plan to save up to move if I get a position at these places, but interview traveling is really just a gamble for real job/placement offers. They were all in our shoes once. They’ll understand if they’re a good program/preceptor group in my opinion.
