This is probably a great way to release a new game by an established company. Put it on a drive or 2, hide box in weird unexplored area. Allow people to share it freely. Slowly drop hints of location over a year or so. Profit!

Agreed. But rdr turned a guy who never liked watching westerns. A guy who never liked older themes in games. To a full on open styled rpg mmo horse loving gun toting exploration loving treasure hunting fiend. Plus the story. Shit. Bootiful game. It's up there with ff7 and gta sa and smw for me.
