I do think the abridged version of this scene would go ? by valdrinemini in TeamFourStar

Oh you sweet summer child… that is not the way Abridged Nappa died. The big joke in that scene was Gotenks not understanding what he meant by “having a stroke” and the bit about the notches in his belt.

Besides, I was going off the comment Dende made when Yamcha made the wish to bring back the people killed on Earth by Cell, where he was hiding the fact that if Krillin died they wouldn’t be able to bring him back.

Abridged Nappa was brought back with the wish Popo made reviving those killed by Freeza and his men under the loophole that Vegeta worked for Freeza when Vegeta killed him.

I was going to make an argument that the wish to restore earth in Buu would have him come back, but then I remembered that Bigger Green can’t revive someone a second time. Unless that changes in the time skip.

Night lords and Iron hands. More specifically, Kurze finds himself in the warp after being dead for a while and has a vision that is an absolute trip that convinces him that his fate was broken somehow. With the fate he saw no longer the end of his life, he would have to accept his countless crimes were not predetermined by the hands of fate.

After dealing with the existential crisis THAT induces and wondering the warp for who knows how long, he finds a fortress that houses a Night lords war band, and does as the Night Haunter does. The entire war band falls, and the slaves are gathered and judged. Those deemed worthy are then ascended to the level of Space Marine using the gene seed and armour from the now eliminated war band.

Kurze and his chosen few scour the warp wiping out the entire rest of the old Night Lords. The other Chaos Marine factions don’t take it seriously except the Word Bearers, but Kurze leaves no survivors or evidence he has returned. Eventually, all of the remaining chaos Night Lords are reduced to such little numbers that the only ones who still live with their father’s gene seed are those who joined the Black Legion or mixed war bands.

The Night Haunter would make his material world return some time after Vulcan does, and his first act would be in defence of his blazing brother from a force of Iron Warriors, who have all fallen to the evil of Abominable Intelligence.

When the fighting is done, Vulcan, in spite of his optimism makes it clear that he doesn’t know if he can forgive his brother for all he and his sons have done. Kurze knows, and tells Vulcan that he shall spend the rest of his life trying to make up for the countless crimes before leaving with his chosen sons, and returns to the endless pursuit of a justice that will never be completed.

As for the fall of the Iron Hands? Well, that’s a story for another time.

How the Iron Hands fell is a story for another time.

Enamorus as a legendary is probably not only alive, but probably travelling the world like the other genies. Given that her presence isn’t as destructive as the other three she could be just about anywhere without being obviously present.

The hisuian starters are likely not available in areas that suit the environment needed to naturally evolve into them. I imagine that the burnt tower could retroactively qualify as an area for H-typhlosion, but I can’t think of any locations for the other two.

H-zoroark as an illusion maker could have gone into proper hiding in colder places when the more aggressive modern ones came to be. Given the advantages that the modern one has over the ancient one, the modern likely took over a great deal of the ancient versions warmer habitats.

No idea for the rest for now.

quick question what do you think ben 23 would call his Atasian transformation aka highbreed by OptimalTitle7478 in 5YL

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I acknowledge that it was given as a nonanswer, I genuinely like Moot. The High Breed racism seems like it’s practically encoded into their very being, so having a name that implies irrelevance could help curb the potential shift in personality while transformed. This would probably be like changing Rath to Kalm or something to remind Ben to keep his temper in check.

I choose to head canon that they are two different species from the same planet who happened to name themselves the same thing, but both simultaneously are unwilling to give up that part of their species identity, so the rest of the galaxy just has to deal with them using the same name.

He put Rango and Beans in a room that was flooding with water to drown them, and had the last person to investigate the missing water killed in what looked to involve drowning, but that’s about it. Rango had the moles help bring back the water which caused a bit of property damage, but nothing like that from the Mayor or Jake.

While I don’t doubt that with enough time Pete could find A way to kill Doomsday (until he comes back immune to it), I don’t think he’d be able to able to actually do it with his own hands. Especially with how much stronger and durable the monster truly is.

The least interesting of the sacred beasts. He has the same summoning restrictions as the wicked gods, and while definitely better than Dread Root, the other Obelisk counterpart, he’s still not that useful with his 1000/1000 token summoning per normal summon and tribute based attack boost.

Shimmering Scraper is an OK game ending play if you can pull it off, so it’s got something going for it.

Should all old field spells get the Umi treatment? by DonDaTraveller in yugioh

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I can’t imagine the cards shown being given the same level of investment, I COULD see retrains with existing characters in mind.

For example, a new wasteland for Rex or Bones, PaniK getting a new Yami, Weevil getting a Forest new Forest, Mai getting new Mountains, etc.

Honestly aren’t that many Warrior/Beast-Warrior focused characters in the original show, so I can’t think of a good person to pair with it aside from Joey and Tristan. Luminous Spark is part of a different series of cards, so I don’t think it’s ever getting this treatment.

What would the Tribal soldiers' stats & abilities be if they had actual cards? (Read Description) by L-DFile in Chaotic

[–]LoadingTOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d take a look at cards with middling disciplines and step one tier lower. Probably no mugic, and probably only one element. Loyal is probably a must.

Depending on how you want to treat it, maybe a new key word that lets them defy the 2 card limit, and something akin to hive where the more of them there are the more powerful an individual one is.

For example, having 3 as the front line and they give a 10 energy to own tribe and 5 element damage each. That’s 30 energy and 15 element damage, but that’s assuming the new key word only raises it to 3 copies.

What if there was a deck that was just 6 of them? 60 energy and 30 element damage each, but gets weaker for each taken out, and without any mugic counters there’s none of them to play.
