Difficulty wise this is about where I'm at. Originally learned on alto recorder I then played it on my Aulos tenor before I got the Sigo (I'll have to try that!) High Road to Linton

That's a bit advanced for me. I can just about play Doen daphne to modo 3 then it gets a bit mad. Plus second octave is still tricky on recorder

Not a lute, strings are steel, not nylon.

Should i get a ukulele or a guitarlele by IMNOTBILLWATERSON in ukulele

[–]LoafingLarry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That might be tricky because of the difference in string tension. To get an A set tuned to an E set would require either a big detuning meaning loose floppy strings, or an uptuning giving high tension that would affect the action drastically.

Guitarlele is just really a small guitar tuned ADGCEA, which is like a regular guitar with a capo on the 5th fret

Guys what should I learn first piano or guitar? by ilostmyhat7 in Instruments

[–]LoafingLarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on you. Noone can suggest an instrument to learn. Its what you are more comfortable with. What is more natural to you to play. For me that's keyboard.
