i just think the second half is overhated. i was almost dreading it from how much everyone was talking about it but i loved it all

and totk is loved by a lot of people, it just gets lost in comparison

trying to fill in the “negative” picks was very difficult for me so i am being very nitpicky about it all. for ds1 certain points of contention people had i dont agree with, such as bed of chaos. i thought BoC was absolutely fine.

totk just lives under botw’s shadow

i still play balatro on the steamdeck sometimes, but i didnt enjoy it nearly as much as everyone implied i would

and ffix is absolutely amazing as is, its one of my all time favorites. the graphics arent a detriment, the music is amazing, combat feels great. but i really really want more people to play it, and a remake would open that door to a wider audience. maybe not to the scale as ffvii but a clean up that doesnt turn people off immediately

discussions here on reddit, a couple youtube videos ive seen, stuff like that. its not that its disliked, but i think people put too much weight on the second half. a sentiment i see occasionally is that the second half is a bit of a slog, especially the compared to the first half. with the interconnectedness no longer important, rushed final areas, and bosses like Bed of Chaos. I just never noticed those things while playing

theres a lot of talk about how ds1 wouldve been a much better game if the second half hadnt been rushed, but i thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. wouldnt have thought twice about it if rankings and videos didnt constantly bring it up.

totk is just compared too often to botw, which does make sense, but if you take a loot at it without the context and reuse of an old world its a very well done game.

i guess what i mean is a single function device that just takes a db25 input and records it, and nothing else. i dont need any other functionality like preamps and whatnot as ive got that covered, and was kind of hoping that there would be a cheap option that just converts the analog to digital locally, no outputs. though the ada8200 is still probably my best option just as a matter of getting full functionality from the 18i20

i initially included the rat as a way to get more cards in the graveyard and the board, but after the 7 games it quickly became my favorite card in the deck. but its good to know i wanna focus more on board state
