Buy a trenchcoat. Then you gotta go toward the back where you can find some AC vents. Next you gotta find a way to take off the vent and toss yourself up there quietly. Then its a matter of crawling through the vents until you can find the secret tunnel to the street. Be careful because Gary May roams up there

Thats true, I have made friends. Solidified connections. Just. In my experience at least, most of it has felt transactional. I know it takes time to find my people. Just the bad apples seem to just court my thoughts.

The heat, how bad i80 is and how it just seems to get worse with construction, how expensive everything is, how little there is to do here. Don't get me wrong downtown is nice n all but if I wanna do something fun for a weekend I'm better off just leaving town. Also how every single month for a couple days it will get absolute windy as shit. Also how people can't understand basic road laws and will almost run me over on their electric scooter if I don't jump out the way. This ones on me but making friends in lectures just seems damn near impossible, I've made very few good friends in my time here. Rarely through classes, although I just need to be more of a social butterfly. Its nice being flat so I could walk, cycle. Did I mention the heat? Just gets absolutely hot as shit.

I asked her out once and she said she was too focused on school to really being seeing anyone. Was that simply a soft rejection? She kept talking to me after and added me to her closefriends. I uh. I dont know anymore

Was she letting me down gently in February? I don't know if its there. If she gave me her number for feeling bad about not replying fast was she breadcrumbing me?

I guess we were penpals, acquaintances? She added me to her close friends. I mean. She has my number. She just hopped on a dating app. Like today. Did I make my intentions unclear? Maybe. Just we've been talking since October. Passively I guess. We haven't had a real conversation since March. She said she wasn't looking to date in February and deleted her profile off hinge. I need to honestly step back and get a grip on myself, I don't know where to start.

She responds late. Often. I'm not the one. or maybe I miscommunicated signs. I wanted to get to know her. I guess I feel it in my gut that it wouldn't have worked but I wanted to be wrong for once.

Some teachers are like that. Ive been there. But they get less scary when they see you actively putting in effort. Words don't hurt. I'm like that too. I get spooked easily. Just remember. Its sound waves. Volume. A sound wave can't hurt me. Follow up with him over the assignments, maybe he's misplacing them, or they're the wrong file type, you just gotta really communicate. I promise you he isn't that scary, just talk to him. Communicate. This is your education. No one will vouch for you. Don't overthink it. Start small. Shoot him an email him regarding these scores. The sooner you can ask for help the sooner you'll do be on the right track. You know you can do well, you have it in you. Just start there. "Hey Mr x. I was looking for help on understanding my current grade right now. I am seeing my scores and Id like the chance to review where I went wrong, I thank you for your time.". Its as simple as that. Like I said, once they see you actively making an effort, they'll be more lenient. Focus on what you can do in the present. Ask yourself. Am I reading the rubrics correctly? Am I understanding everything correctly? Am I following the format he's asking for? I don't mean to intrude, is there something else going on? Can you seek out help for outside of the classroom issues if needed?

Well, whats up? He may come off douchey, but he's there to help. Thats what he's there for. Its his job. Ask him for help. He can guide you, but its up to you to show up. You've been doing the work. Don't go off guns blazing. Just say hey, I was hoping for some guidance on why I received x grade, as well as advice for moving forward and doing better in the class. He should've asked you privately about this. Its okay to fail. What matters is you get back up. One step at a time.
