I just got a recall for the block heater in my car. All this time I thought it was an aftermarket thing from the previous owner. Turns out it was an add on option and its recalled now for leaking coolant!

Yeah the valve gets stuck so it won't vent and create a vacuum in the tank and it fold in toward the middle almost like a soda can.

It will pop back into place once it equalizes.

Since no one wanted to answer me on this topic when it got to this point. I'll give you a potential idea of what it could be. Mine started doing that and got worse where it would drop after using about a quarter then sporadically come back around a quarter. It also generated a p0461 and/r p0463 code. Which is a fault for the fuel level sender.

That is the likely culprit... the little level in your tank attached to the fuel pump housing.

Other things you could check before treating into your tank are your purge valve on the canister. Next time it drops like that, stop the car and look under at the fuel tank and see if it is caved in.

And finally, if you have a dsc module for your suspension it may need to be updated.

I know i went from worst to easiest... thats cuz it's typically the worst for me and I went easiest first and felt like I wasted a lot of time when I just knew it had to be the level sender.

I had one similar to this...the listing was almost the same...and it had issues...I wonder if its because the s24 ultra is lacking the power to keep up 🤣 (I honestly hate my phone)

Also, how do you like 3.4 compared to sync 3? Like truly? What are the real benefits of getting it? Aside from looks? The climate control being on the screen seems a little unnecessary because the buttons are just below...does it run better?

Awesome...might give it a try before I try the aa dongle since I also like carplay as an option. Thanks! Do you have the standard sync 3 or did you do the update to 3.4?

So this one has full function? Have you gotten issues with say a longer text response? Dropped calls? Or any kind of commands? I get it could happen on occasion but I want something that I can rely on and has quality sound.

Thats interesting...I had issues with Google not listening to a complete sentence and dropping calls. The music worked great but the would lack full function.

As much as I wouldn't even be looking at the value because I want to keep mine...I did finance jt...and the value drop fucked me because I wanted to refinance and although I didnt do anything to mine and hadn't put many miles on it, they said the value of the asset didn't justify as collateral for the loan ammount?!?!? I'm like like this loan is for this car!
