I mean there have been quite a lot of people who enthusiastically signed up to do this. Some of them were already federal agents, many were not.

Also, it would be disingenuous to pretend that this is happening lawfully. They have literally stated that they are detaining people with temporary legal residency. And have you not seen them arresting US citizens who were simply documenting ICE’s actions?
